This book basically told me to make a to do list and stick with it. Making sure to do everything the average person should do without cutting corners. It was like sitting in one of those get rich quick scheme seminars with this overly motivated guy who tells you how Priamerica saved his life and now he makes millions. Or one of those Verve idiots trying to trap you in their pyramid scheme... good read just eerily sales pichy....

It was basic with good info but lacking in the "hiw to" realm. It basically said do the work. It lacked strategy on practical application but did have a few examples of how her starts his day, which helped illustrate how he takes action. I felt it was more of a plug for marketing his personal coaching. If you are new to learning this stuff you should find some good help.

Excited to read what content this book contained. Already had an idea about the author and his backstory, since I first was introduced to him via Andy Frisella's MFCEO podcasts. And thus following his IG, also listening to other podcast that had him as a guest. It's straight forward, slight look into his past, and simple-directed actions he has taken to take back his life. Its an easy to read book, with simple yet great plan to help the reader in climb out of their own ditch, like myself. Thanks

This is the best money I spent all year - this man has a great gift to breaking it down and giving you the best advice you will ever receive, so quit messing around, order this book, an read it URGENTLY before you waste more time

OK, I'm 60, and have been rather introspective my whole life. There are many 'self-help' books out there-most are written by professionals, whose audience is thoughtful folks who purchased the book to gain some insight on how to live a better life. Right.

The book has a cool title, and was cheap (which is why I tossed instead of returning for credit).

The author's self-aggrandizing style on the back cover was a turn off, but I went through and spot-read a little

I was shocked. The kind of message(s) and points that he makes, while valid, are for wayward teenagers. Even then, a more measured, respectful tone to the reader would be beneficial.

Perhaps the publisher should approach kids who have successfully done most of a Scared Straight program, and are ready to get on w their lives.

Hey, somebody published it-so there must be some value. I was just turned off in a big way.

Absolutely awesome.

I've known Sean (the author) for a few years.

I've seen Sean speak to full rooms. I've seen Sean receive standing ovations.

What I haven't seen is this side of Sean.

The secret giver.

This is the blueprint for daily task execution that can lead to a better life.

I read it in one sitting in a few hours and I will read it many times over again.

This the store system doesn't allot for enough stars because he deserves more.

Core 4. Let's Win.

Order thus boom NOW and START WINNING.

Sean speaks from the heart. He doesn't beat around the bush he delivers the truth and it hits hard. Thank you for taking the time to write this brother. It was well received. I have already shared it with my friends and colleagues.

This book's philosophy can apply to anyone so long as they are really invested in trying to implement change in their life. When I first looked at Sean Whalen's book, my first thought was "Damn that a rather small book". Mr. Whalen is quick to address to point of his book, CORE4, and how he turned around his life by doing so. He doesn't mince words either when he elaborates on the different facets of this philosophy. After finishing the book, I came to realize it's written in a passionate, frank, and perhaps even offensive tone that is quite common throughout his Facebook posts.

I finished this book today and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a short and inexpensive read but it is packed with tons of Core 4 Values to really get your sh** together. It is not a book for the sensitive type. It delves right in to getting rid of excuses and getting to live your best life. It also makes many recommendations to other books that I have purchased or added to my cart and will be reading soon!

Not a good read. Written very simply, in very large print. Not a whole lot of "Wow" factor. Reminded me of one of those run on videos when sellers are trying to convince you to purchase their product. Do not recommend.

This book is refreshing. It is a no nonsense, politically incorrect call to action. If you are a snowflake whose feelings get hurt easily, keep moving. If you want clarity in your personal life or your business life, and are tired of sifting through the myriad of feel good, self help books out there, then this could be for you. It is short and sweet, just like I like. No extra 5 chapters of fluff you don't need. In my opinion, it's the real world, in the trenches "Who moved my cheese" of inspiration. Put on your work clothes and buy this book. At this price, you just can't go wrong.

While it has a few nuggets of wisdom, it's really nothing new. It's a typical self-help and motivational speaker type of book. Perhaps there should have been a section of the book for "how not to use the F word" so many times. There are more than enough of them which really cheapens it. Spend the $$$ buying yourself a small salad. It's healthier in the long run.

After reading it, it was just OK. It wasn't exactly enlightening, but it for something that's under $4, what have you got to lose. It's super short and an easy read. I think Sean is a cool dude and obviously successful with what he does, so I believe he has something to offer. Just work your ass off and set goals to strive towards.

I have been following Sean on social media for a while now and he is awesome! When I saw he was writing a book I knew I had to have it! First off, I love that he dedicated the book to his Mom! I read the first line of the book And knew it was going to be just what I needed to get my a** in gear! Easy, short read that I couldn't put down! Packed with so much awesome stuff! Loved it. Will definitely be paying it forward. Have several people in mind who need to read it!!

Sean!

I wanted to share this with you. I asked you a few weeks ago if you were going to have an audio book available. That was me making an excuse why I cannot focus enough to sit down and read your book. I have made this excuse for many years. Listening to the content you share daily on Instagram pulled me towards reading your book. I received your book this morning and just finished it this afternoon. This is the first book that I have read from start to finish other than an audio book!
Core4 is a simple road map to what I have been complicating for years with relationships, business and goals! This is a great read and one that I will share with others. Thank you for sharing your experiences through this book. Still blown away that I finished my first book in just a few hours. Now it’s time to put in the work!

Very short book if you want to call it a book. More like a pamphlet you get at a motivational seminar. There are some good points made but for the most part feels like a mix of motivational statements. Don't be fooled by the low price!!! You get the book for a few dollars and then get ripped off with an almost $10.00 shipping charge to ship a little book that would normally cost a few dollars to ship. Looks like someone is making their money off the shipping charges. There are a number of other more concise and detailed motivational books out there....

Google Core 4 and save yourself the money. The guys cussed a lot and uses a lot of strong hold tactics such as blanket generalizations, cussing at the reader, and insulting the reader for their existing ways. His ideas aren’t original.

It’s simple. It’s repetitive. So is lifting weights. That doesn’t finish the value in the effort, and it certainly doesn’t finish the value in the result.

It is NOT a traditionally formatted book, with a suspenseful narrative to make the elitist jerk in you satiated.

It’s a simple tool, like a hammer and chisel. It’s real. And the four areas of your life that Sean talks about apply to every human every second of the day, and if you think Sean can’t know anything and he can’t help you, you’re just screwing your self.

He’s the buff bastard in the gym who’s you NEED to be COPYING!

I put the book down, and I’m doing the WORK!

Blatant rip off of Garret J. White’s Warrior’s Way & Core4. Gives zero credit where credit is due and even goes as far as stealing the idea of a crest (too similar to Wake Up Warrior to be coincidence!) This Book is not worth the paper it is printed on.

Very simple concepts that will absolutely make a profound impact on your entire life if you make it. These principles eliminate every aspect of variability and put the ball directly in your lap, making it quite simple that YOU are the only variable that you need to fix if you want to fix your life.

I literally read this in the time it took me to drink one cup of tea at Blue Bottle. So it’s short.

And there are mistakes - ‘The War Of Art’ is a book? Plus, it’s written as if the author’s yelling at you, the way an army sergeant would yell at you to button your jacket and polish your f’ing shoes. Lots of caps, repeated phrases, gratuitous cursing.

More seriously, while there are doubtless several good motivational tips - he did a good job there and he’s right on several counts - he falls into the trap of believing that everyone defines success the same way. Having millions of dollars doesn’t make you successful, any more than having a million bricks makes you the owner of a house. It’s relative, and not a compulsion for everybody. Configuring your life in regimented fashion in order to build muscles or make millions. or whatever, is just one route to success. What if a person defines success as something else? Wholeness, peace of mind, or by having harmonious relationships that aren’t kept alive by programmed reminders on a cellphone for date nights and sending flowers? In that case, the hectoring tone of this book could lead them up an unsuitable path, I think.

The underlying message seems to be that if you make to-do lists for your every waking hour and order your life in such a way that you feel you have taken control of it, then ‘success’ will be yours. However, life can’t be controlled, can it? Try to impose your will on it, and you are asking for trouble. Did he not see Jurassic Park? Better, I say, to do your best, go with the flow, and trust that things are working out, rather than imposing your goals on reality. Just a thought.

Btw, I’m also a little wary of self-confessed cigar aficionados and fast car drivers. I always think they’re making up for deep insecurity and possibly deficiencies in other areas. So that kinda made me unsettled too. Though, if true, it would certainly explain the repeated plugging of his accomplishments, his coaching groups, his website, the amount of money he’s made, etc. Also, why would a guy who makes a big play out of keeping your body in the best of physical shape mention that he ingests toxic gases from cigars regularly? That baffled me.

As did the repeated references in mocked-up conversations to women as being bitches. What is this, 1971?

On the whole, I wanted to love it, and him, but 45 minutes later - it’s more of a pamphlet than a book, a rant than prose - was decidedly ho-hum about the whole thing and ready for a nap. Some people shouldn't write books, they should meet you in person and yell instructions at you. First thing on my to-do list tomorrow: delete this from my Kindle.

One of the best lessons that I had in the last 3 years I'm putting together right now:
Make the Sh*t happens is a Masterpiece with a direct connection with the success.
The price of this book it's like the price of Bitcoins in the beginning of first week of existence. Don't loose the opportunity to pay forward and give a copy for your best friends! I did it buying 10 copies and I know that my friends will love it too.

I ordered 8 of them to share and give away to other veterans and family in general and personally the book was short and to the point and on point. I have sat at my local VA and had vets ask me what's that you're reading and I say well if you would like this one I'd be glad to give it to you , I have given 6 out of 8 that way so far, I truly enjoyed the book and it's content , Yes most of it was I already knew it but some of it needed to be said again to jolt me into getting up off my ass and making it happen, Thank you Sean Whalen great book.

Went to my tech school wishing I was home when the book was delivered. Couldn't wait until I got home to read!

Over time I read the whole book, and gave it away. Now from time to time I buy more books and hand them out.

I do follow Sean, and plan on buying more books to read that he suggests like "As a man thinketh".

Great book! I was impressed with how well he broke down each of the topics with real life examples. It was easy to comprehend and straight to the point. I bought 3 more copies today because their are people I want to hear his messages they way he put them. I will re-read...take notes and follow this system.

I gotta say...I read about 10 pages to my wife and she was highly impressed with his guidance in the relationships section. We already have some things planned. She's happy!

The book is written as a series of bullet-style paragraph/sentences. It's extremely short and it's mostly just him promoting his Core4 program and bragging about how great he his. He often quotes HIMSELF. He also overstates his popularity and claims he has received over 500 million views on youtube; the videos of his I found only had a few thousand views. Why I;m supposed to take advice from a guy who blew up his own marriage and deserted his children during a mid-life melt-down is beyond me. He another one of these unqualified narcissists who think everyone should listen to them because they speak the loudest. I read the whole book in 45 minutes; a complete waste of time.

If you are looking for something to motivate you and make you laugh, "You Are a Badass" is a much much better choice than this garbage.

I enjoy his videos and online presence, we have a lot of common views, so I wanted to see what this book was about. Not really what I expected. A lot of common sense...but maybe that is what his intention was for this?
But, what I am not happy about is that readers paid money for a book to have someone tell them to GOOGLE things because Google is free and you can find anything on the internet. Wow....

Bought on a whim for a short trip. The entire book is just the author being really into himself, and super repetitive without getting to the point.

If you enjoy the advice of a guy on his 8th drink of the night, however, this might be up your alley.

The book has good overall messages. That is important, his message is not to be trivialized. However, the writing quality is marginal, and the book is CHALK-FULL of PROFANITY. Many people write like that these days, but it displays a certain kind of spiritual difficulty. Since I walk by faith and not by sight, it's absurd to assume that someone who cannot master basic communication formalities is going to have an impactful idea that is profitable. Also, the author likes to end a sentence with five exclamation points. It has the feel of a coach's motivational speech in a locker room.

I don't throw books away. If I don't want to keep them, I will bring them to a used bookstore so someone else can get it cheaper than new.

This book is now in my garbage can. It started well, and I thought maybe there was something to it, but as I continued to turn pages, there were so many contradictions, and the writing style is blindly assertive with no compassion, so this one went in the trash as soon as I read the last page.

I'm glad it was only a few bucks. But really, don't even waste a few of your dollars on this thing. Just figure out on your own how to be a better person instead.
