Why is a summary of a book even an option and why does it look EXACTLY LIKE THE BOOK?!? My fault for not reading in depth to learn this was not the full book. DON’T MAKE MY MISTAKE. THIS IS NOT THE FULL BOOK!

I found little in this summary to hold onto. Some of the ideas are perfectly sensible, but the summary is VERY short. If there would be any value here for me, it might only appear IF I had read the full book and wanted a quick refresher. Reading the summary first does not, however, pique my interest.

This is not the actual book but it has almost the exact same cover, which confused me. It is a summary of the real book. It can be easy to miss that when searching for the actual book. Keep a look out!

I didn't realize this was a *summary* of the real book. I had thought I found the real book for a low price, and was disappointed to find a 20 page summary. Likely a very good summary, but not the whole book. Guess I should pay more attention next time!

I have read both the book this summary is based on and this summary. This summary accurately and clearly represents the ideas in the book.
The book is full of good ideas, but is crippled by a gimmicky style that many find offensive, too offensive to read the book. That gimmicky style lasts for half the book.
This summary provides the opportunity for learning what those good ideas are with the offensive style distilled out.
People who have read the book and who want to go on to regularly apply the lessons will find this summary a useful collection of notes to refer back to.

Catchy title. Really enjoyed the insight within and the different perspective on how to view... well, everything.
The book ended rather abruptly. Not sure why. Guess I was expecting (having been trained by other books like this) to have a warm and fuzzy summary/recap at the end.
Still, with that, I give it 5 stars. Because it really did make me think and rethink how I view myself and certain "standards" I've set for myself on how, why, and what I "live for".
Doubt that makes any sense (to anyone but me) but I'm telling you there is something to the logic presented in this book that'll get you thinking. Even if you don't agree with what's said in it-there's a logic to the topics discussed that'll make you confront or realize why you (do or) don't agree with it.
Overall, good book. No typos observed. Formatting nice. Read it in less than 30 minutes.

I think this book is a difficult one to summarize, since it contains some difficult or counterintuitive concepts or ideas. The author did a good job of making me feel I understand the main details of the book. Reading the summary was definitely a good use of my time. I probably won't read the whole book and feel as if I got enough of it from the summary so I don't have to. Also awesome is the fact that I have Kindle Unlimited and didn't have to pay additional funds for this summary. Thank you CompanionReads!

Mostly I agree with this philosophy. Absolutely it’s important to acknowledge suffering and decide what is worth suffering for. I just think it’s a little problematic and simplistic to say that you are in some way responsible for all of your circumstances. There are some things completely out of your hands and this book gets a little too “American dream”y by not accounting for institutional racism, sexism, etc. Reactions are 100% the responsibility of the individual. But to ignore the power of external factors in blockading individuals from achieving their goals is small-minded and also a major issue in society. This book is A+ if the system is already on your side, but like B- if you account for issues this white male author will never have to encounter.

I could hardly put this down. It was refreshing to read an honest and well written script that makes you want to be a better person. In the big scheme of things, I know I want to leave this world knowing I did something positive. It's not the amount of toys you have when you die, it's the amount of hearts you've touched.

May be the best book I have ever read. Purchased it for the title. Finished it for the content. Went through two highlighers! Never boring. great mini-stories. Profound insight. I'm sure I will be checking out some of his other works.

Best self-help/inspiration book that I have read in a long time. Great writing. Funny and to the point. We need more honest reprisal to our troubled times, more people who have the courage to tell it how it really is. I was super impressed with the wisdom shared, and how it was packaged for the reader. The book read itself. I am grateful.

I’ve been wanting to read this book forever. But didn’t realize it was so short. I would’ve wanted something that was a little more in-depth. Overall tho, I listened to it as an audiobook so it just sounded like a good podcast (only took like 45 Min).

All in all it really is a good book and I think everyone should give it a shot and read it. My mom recommended this book to me. Now I will say though I felt like this book was leaning more towards helping couples through struggles more so than Not Giving a F*** of what other think that can impact our life’s and or every day decisions. Even though I don’t have any marital problems this book did help me out with other life’s issues.

I enjoyed this book greatly. Although I don't usually read books that some may consider self help books. I found this author to be different in regards to giving realistic view points about approaching real life situations. This isn't a self-help book it's more about perspective. Well worth the read. I read it for free on the store Unlimited and purchased the hardcard cover for my best friend.

I really enjoyed the detailed breakdown of each chapter into key takeaways and the inclusion of some direct quotes from the book. I would have liked there to be some type of conclusion or summary at the end

Wasn’t sure if I wanted to read the book so settled on this summary. Offers revealing insights into the author’s premise to Care or Care Not. Is well structured and settled my doubts about whether investment of time and money into the book would be worth it to me.

In my personal opinion, Condensed or Summary books are the way to go when it comes to Self-Help topics. Direct and to the point. This particular book does a good job of “getting-to-the-point” and allowing me to get on with my day.

Perfect summary for those who have very little time to read. I ended up buying both, this summary and the actual book, and loved every single page of both of them. I love them both so much that everyone in my Christmas list is getting them this year.

It's well written, lots of good pointers which can be used on our daily basis... like it reads in the book "every time we make a mistake in our lives we can't sit their and point finger we should take a step back n look at our self." We have the power to make our on choice. I would recommend this book to anyone who's willing to take a further step in life but is afraid to make that kind of commitment.. I actually choose 4 stars, but my phone is been a pain..

This isn't worth it... get the actual book and be wary of return policy with this one.
