Review:Well-researched and packed with information, yet also lively and engaging thanks to the writer's wry voice. I think this book will appeal not merely to "cat people," but to anyone who is interested in science, history, and how humans relate to other species. I still prefer dogs, but I have a new respect for cats now! Read more
Review:Like many of my fellow feline enthusiasts, I have followed Simon's Cat on the internet for some time. When I found out that there was a book prepared in his honour, I was more than a little interested. After reviewing several pages, I was hooked. You may think that something is lost in translation ~~ a video clip type of approach to a stop action book approach, but Simon's Cat is just as wonderful in print as he is on internet. One of the best books I have purchased in quite some time. Read more
Review:This sequel to "A Street Cat Named Bob" continues the story of James and Bob and how their lives continued to evolve. Bob seems like an amazing cat and I'm so glad that he and James found each other. James' willingness to share some of his trying times and recovery is amazing. What could be depressing is anything but. Read more

Review:Terrific little book of stories about cats and if you have ever owned such feline creatures who own you - you don't own them, you will recognise the common traits of all cats in these little stories.
Highly recommended, especially for the elderly who adore cats and will bring back memories of the characters their cats were. Read more

Review:Nice looking book. Originally bought this as a gift for my 9-year-old granddaughter who loves dog stories. After skimming a few of the stores, I decided that the language and content would not be very appealing to her so I decided not to give it to her, at least not yet.
