Pets & Animal Care
Review:This book is so interesting! It doesn't exactly give you quick answers to dog training, but it offers so much information in a really easy to ready sort of way. I certainly thought I knew a lot about dogs, but this book makes you see how we communicate so differently. I highly recommend this to anyone. Even if you're an experienced dog owner, it's very interesting. Read more
Review:This set of poems and short essays is delightful. They capture the spirit and beauty of dogs. Oliver writes the poems from both the dog's perspective and from the person's perspective. The poems allow you to feel what the dog is feeling and feel the love and wonder of the human. Read more
Review:An enchanting book filled with charming photos of Tuna and furbished with Courtney's delightfully witty captions. Having a rainy day? A flip through this book will cheer you up no end. Part of my daily morning routine is to look at Tuna's Instagram page and see what shenanigans he's been up to. He's a perfect advocate for appreciating our own individual beauty and for supporting rescue animals. Read more
Review:This was a terrific read on many levels: well written, a true story, learned a lot about dogs , and loved the parallel stories about author's personal journey and the dogs in her life. Worth the time!!! Read more
Review:My book arrived last night and I just finished it this afternoon! I couldn't put it down! Even though I have been following Gobi and her story since day one and I know how it ends, I was still holding my breath until the very end! I had no idea the story of Finding Gobi was so much more! I cried, I laughed, and I even got angry in spots! It's an emotional roller coaster of a ride with the bestest ending of all! It's my new favorite book and I hope one day to get to meet Gobi and Dion and may e... Read more
Review:I was never really sure if anyone could mirror my feelings for my animal babies. This comes close. We lost both an old beloved lab and the best horse we have ever ridden within a few months this year. We get it.. Read more
Review:The story of the trials and tribulations of transporting 25dogs across the country was interesting as were the stories of many of the rescue details. I came from Arkansas to Vermont with 13 cats loose in my car. I can appreciate that type of experience. Read more
Review:It is all about loving and being loved and taking care of a living creature. I wouldn't trade any of my animals through all the years, from my duck with the black spot on his head to my sweet Jack today. Life is measured in the lives we touch. :=) Read more
Review:Not appropriate for kids! I am very disgusted with this book. I bought this for my young nephew who also has the books 'I could pee on this' and 'sorry I barfed on your bed'. I thought this would be another similar, but Mittens is more adult humor. I flipped through a few pages and found on page two the very offensive expression "Bros before Hoes" is used, as well as a few other references I did not think appropriate for a kid. I wish the book was more accurately labeled as adult content, then I... Read more
