It is all about loving and being loved and taking care of a living creature. I wouldn't trade any of my animals through all the years, from my duck with the black spot on his head to my sweet Jack today. Life is measured in the lives we touch. :=)

This was an absolutely lovely story. It started our very ugly but then as you followed the "readers digest" version of this dog's life you found yourself really understanding that across life is definitely worth living. Well done Jennifer, well done.

I love dogs and this sounded interesting being from the dog's point of view. After reading the story, I felt like several of the dogs we have had, could have written this story or at least helped to write it as a couple came from abusive places and had been dumped, thinking would not find homes, even some of the end results - being put to sleep - was a situation we had recently gone through with a beloved pet. We now have another "rescue" dog, and he could also write his own story.

This was a wonderful Lynn written book, narrated by a dog who began life in a terrible place, filled with pain and no love. He was rescued in time but bore the scars inside and outside of that abuse. He found his forever home and was loved. I love happy endings, and I hope every animal finds
a forever home filled with love.

This is an excellent book, even for an older male like myself. This book could easily have been told by my Jack Russell Terrier named Bandit. T had been abused re I got him from a dog rescue organization. The ending was very much like Bandit's on 06/14/2014 when I had to put him down. I do believe about 30 minutes before I made that sad decision, that Bandit indeed was talking to an angel.

I highly rated this book because I thought it was so sweet. The story was nice for adults but good for younger readers as well. Having dogs myself, I've often given them voice and this is how I imagine my dog's would talk to me. I really enjoyed this book.

Definitely a tear-jerker! This was beautifully written, and told a wonderful story of rescue & love, for a dog who thought he would never find love or a home of his own. Worth the read, wish it was longer!

As a New kindle reader, I enjoyed this short story, even though parts of it seemed flawed, weather it was the store typing translation or the way the author wrote the story I'm not sure...it still hit me like it should hit any dog lover.
