Easy Love (The Boudreaux Series Book 1)

Loved all the characters and their interactions. Eli's reason for letting Kate go was seriously lame, especially when he had no problems showing everyone how much he cared. Also, would have liked to have had more conflict back story with the rotten husbands.

This book drew me in right from the beginning. There is great character development in this first installment of the Boudreaux series; we learn about the rest of the family, but it works seamlessly into the story. While there are some heavy/disturbing scenes, it was handled well and didn't turn me off from this book. In fact, I found myself smiling and laughing frequently while enjoying the sexy banter and sarcasm. It's that rare perfect mixture of fun and sexy, Eli and Kate have a blazing hot connection and the supporting characters are intriguing. Loved this book, I would definitely recommend it, and I can't wait for more in the series!

Home run, straight out of the park. Kristen is one of my favorite authors. I've read the entire Seattle Series (more than once) and The Boudreaux Series is set to make it as well. The characters and scenery were so well described I felt like I was right there in New Orleans with them! Having just been to New Orleans this summer I could really relate to why you don't go out alone at night on Bourbon Street! I loved these two and cannot wait to meet the rest. Several of my co-workers are reading this as well (as did the Seattle Series) and we share our thoughts every morning! We are exited for more! Awesome.

if you're looking for angst, heartbreak, love, sex and a little bit of mystery. Eli and Kate are struggling to put their pasts behind them when they meet. Her, from a bad marriage. Him, from his father's death. They say for now, but slowly see it could be more. They have an easy way about them, but they fight because they are scared. I was really happy with the outcome of this story.

I have always enjoyed Kristen Proby's writing and this book was no exception. I love Eli and his broodiness and how attentive he is. I love Kate and how sassy sweet she is, especially when she has a few drinks.
Kate is brought in to help Eli's families company. Kate has know Eli's family for years.
What starts out as just a fun fling between the two slowly turns into something more but neither want to give in. Will it ultimately destroy them or bring them closer together?
Such a great story!

The actions that the characters showed did not fit the description of characters in. For instance Eli went on trip to NY and never contacted her. With Kate, the scene where she was asked by Eli to say c**** word disturbed me. She is a strong woman but the sex scene made her seem weak. Belittled her in a way. I stopped reading the book 1/2 way through.

Real love changes and grows over time and manifests itself in new ways. The same is true with talented writers especially Kristen Proby.
The key elements of the things that make me love Kristen as an author ARE PRESENT in the new Bourdreaux series.
EASY LOVE- the first book of her new series we meet Eli Bourdreaux the youngest CEO of Bayou Enterprises who hires Kate O'Shaughnessy who is on a mission to find a crook.

Eli and Kate give each other a run for their money in this beautifully written story we see how far people are willing to go for love.

I loved this book! Not many things could be better than a book about a powerful and wealthy large creole family with a 30 year old charming son named Eli Boudreaux...siblings named Beau, and Declan, as well as a few sisters in the mix....all set in the Big Easy's French Quarter in New Orleans. It's an easy, quick read. Not too much drama, but a whole lot of fun!

Kristen Proby is a definite one-click author! I loveeee the "With me in Seattle" series and I'm just as excited for the rest of the Boudreaux's after reading Eli and Kate's story. 4.5 stars. I really enjoyed this one! I loved Eli and Kate together - very sweet and great chemistry. My favorite thing about this book was the setting. After reading this, I would love to take a trip to New Orleans. I recommend it to anyone who loves a steamy romance!

I have a feeling the next book will be about Gabby and Rhys and can't wait. I just love Kristen Proby, I like that its not too messy and dramatic but just good love stories about handsome guys who are sweet with a touch of alpha. Strong women who are independent and love hard.

Oh Eli is definitely swoon worthy!! Kate is freakin adorable and the supporting characters are great! The heat that Eli and Kate generate could keep anyone nice and toasty through the winter. I really loved that there wasn't too much drama in this story, just lots of sweet, hot, funny falling in love. I absolutely LOVE Kristens writing style, she can effortlessly make a book both steamy and hilarious. Can't wait to get to the next one!

Being from Louisiana it's about time someone got our culture. I loved Eli & Kate's story. I could imagine Eli's voice speaking our Cajun words very easily. The story captured a Cajun's love of partying and fun. Great read & I love forward to the rest of the Boudreaux series.

New series by Kristen brings us the Boudreaux Family. Like other series by this author she introduces a whole variety of characters that you instantly love and want to know more about. I’m already desperate for Gabby &Rhys and Van & Ben to be paired up……… please let them be paired up!

I found Kristen Proby's With Me series on accident. Loved it! When I saw she had another new story out I couldn't stop myself from buying it. Eli and Kate's story was so good and an amazing story. She is able to put you in their lives and make you fall in love with them and their entire family. I would highly recommend this book and the rest of the series to anyone who enjoys a good love story that's filled with romance and sexy men from the south!!

A fun and entertaining light romance with a hint of suspense. A struggling relationship between two characters who are slightly insecure in offering commitment in their relationship. Many hilarious scenarios to keep the reader involved.

Here is another great start to another successful series by our girl Kristen Proby. I have fallen for the Boudreaux family especially Declan, Beau and of course Eli. This is Eli and Kate's story. I wish the part of the story about the stealing of company funds could have been a little more explored but the point of the story is the romance between Kate and Eli and for that Book One deserves a 5/5. ?❤️

This book had such great reviews and the premise sounded interesting but I wish I had known this was a story of "insta-love". While love at first sight is possible it usually gets a chance to deepen when the characters get to know each other: here both H/h remain flat and one-dimensional and you never get the sense that you know what makes them tick. There were plot points that I found annoying, the most egregious being the point at which the boss (H) kisses the heroine within hours of meeting her when she comes to WORK FOR HIM. Very very hard to suspend one's disbelief on this one if one has ever worked in an office... And to make matters worse, there was no chemistry between H/h so this "insta-love"/"insta-lust" was totally wasted on this reader. There were other big plot problems, including the lack of resolution when the thief is uncovered,the stupid "separation" reason (which really was too thin. Where was the editor???) and more. In all, I just can't recommend this one and wish I could get back the afternoon I spent on it.

I love stories set in the Deep South because there is nothing like a southern man...Eli was a true gentlemen until he met Kate with her Irish eyes. This new series is a smooth story and fun adventure set in New Orleans..Kristen knows just how to bring the steamy man to warm our cold winter nights here in the North. Take the time to read and enjoy this sweet story so just sit back and sip a Lemon Drop and enjoy....

While I loved Kristin Probys WITH ME SERIES..This one for the Bourdreaux was a let down.. They are some confusing facts in the book that dont make sense... While its packed with flirty and lots of sex it lacked total knowledge of getting to know the characters that i was expecting.. i am interested in reading more about the siblings and i hope the characters are more developed than this first book....

You write amazing stories. Your family sagas are fantastic. I now wish I could move to New Orleans and meet the Boudreauxs'. Eli and Kate were a great push and pull relationship. I appreciated the domestic violence storyline as well.
The narrators for the audio book kept my interest and your scenes were STEAMY!!!! Can't wait for the next story!

Anything Kristen Proby writes is fantastic & this one is no different. Loved Eli & Kate. How they met under certain circumstances of him not being able to even touch her, according to his sister. The anticipation of what was to come was awesome. Then when they finally fell for each other, it was epic. The whole, I'm not good enough for you, and then finding her again...loved it.

I love the funny, the attitude, the easy-telling of every characters. I really want to be Kate and Eli at the same time. I mean Kate is the best meanwhile Eli is the best too in the way of human-being who have bad backgrounds before they met each other. I would recommend this story. Great story ever!

Awesome new series from my favorite author. I already love this new family in "The Boudreaux Series". Can't wait for the 2nd book. Plenty of family members and friends to look forward to getting to know and love while we watch the characters as they find the love of their lives. Can't wait to travel this journey with the Boudreaux Family.

What can I say. Another fabulous read from an amazing author. Can't wait to see what is in store for us. I'm already pairing couples together. Looks like Rhys is up next and would love to see him,Gabby and Sam make a sweet family but we will just have to wait and see. Also BEvan and Ben hopefully. Eli and Kate make wonderful couple that you would thoroughly enjoy.

just love this author's writing style ----holds your interest and makes you feel good about the dynamics of the relationships of the characters.....love the tension and chemistry between the characters.....no cliffhanger and while part of a series----each book revolves around a different character....
