Review:This book was recommended to me after the sudden death of my husband. It addresses many of the thoughts and feelings I had and made me feel like I wasn't the only one. It addresses various types of untimely death, so I would recommend it to anyone who has lost a loved one to any type of unexpected 0death. Read more
Review:This was such a moving and hopeful story, the best part being that it's a TRUE STORY! Larry Levin has shown many of us that ALL dogs are special in their own way, some truly earning the title of "Angel", like Oogy. It's just sad that the ones who did those unspeakable things to Oogy were never caught and brought to justice. I had fully expected to spend much of my time reading this book crying my eyes out, but found instead smiling and feeling good about this great dog's story. If you read ANY b... Read more
Review:This was an amazing, thought provoking, fun book. Just shows how God can use the "dumbest" of animals to teach us humans life lessons. Thank you Flash for being who you are and being such a loveable character. My husband now wants a donkey! Read more
Review:In theory this is a great book, because cat butts are a humorous thing. In reality the paper quality is sh*t! I love to color with sharpies and I ruined the first coloring attempt in this book as a result. With one page missing it doesn’t even make for good coffee table book/conversation piece book. I ended up trashing it. Read more
Review:An interesting and informative story (ex. I never knew that British naval vessels carried mascots or that pre-WWII Chinese port cities were so international). But, as a dog breeder, I do think that the author tended to exaggerated Judy's instinctive actions/reactions by attributing them to more human-level motivation. Read more

Review:As you have seen with others, the Kindle version is rife with typographical errors. About location 200, and I am done with it. A few errors are expected but "ar rows", really? The fantasy names have been swapped back and forth a few times as well, so if you are a new reader (as I am, and - being the first book- you would expect others to be) you are left going "wait, what is this place called?". I can't review the books content as the technology has ruined it, in this case. Save yourself some fr... Read more
Review:This is a fascinating book full of great information about cats. It gives the reader insight into cat psychology and behavior. It describes scientific research into cats over the past several years, and the need for more. The only thing I didn't like about the book was the initial chapters went into great detail on the history of cats and their domestication. Don't put the book down if the history part isn't for you, just breeze on past to the next part on behavior and psychology. This is a... Read more
Review:Totally upgraded my thinking about humans and dogs as partners. I think a lot more of our two dogs as feeling beings now, who have their own thoughts, albeit mostly about food. I've always been a dog lover, but this book taught me how to think like my dogs and engage them on a more mutually beneficial level. They respect us and our position, so we should try and understand them. Read more
Review:I loved the adult version and accidentally purchased the young adult version as a gift this time. But it now resides in a lending library for children in Jamaica, West Indies. It has become, as they say, a gift that keeps on giving. Read more
