Review:I love the books in the Immortal Secrets of Nicholas Flamel and series and was thrilled to discover this short story that centers on Billy the Kid and Scathach.
I adore Scathach in the series and it was interesting to see their first interaction with Billy the Kid. This story is packed with action and adventure as they battle the vampyres of Vegas.
I definitely recommend this story to anyone that likes the Immortal Secrets of Nicholas Flamel series. If you like YA fiction with myth... Read more

Bella never fails to exceed my expectations and book 27 is no exception!
We learn more about new and quickly beloved characters and more questions about unknown pasts are raised and the plot thickens! Book 27 takes off and keep moving right up until the last page. Do NOT start it at bedtime if you plan to sleep, you won't be able to put it down til you've read all the way through! Can't wait for the next story!! Read more

Review:Another wonderful installment from Bella Forrest, as she takes us back to the Shade full of romance and mystery! I couldn't stop reading, as with the other books, this one also leaves you not wanting the story to end. I can't wait until May, and book 13 comes out! If you're looking for a great series to get lost in - this series is it! Read more
Review:Great follow up to Avoiding Alpha, which is my favorite in the series. Introduction to strong new characters that keep the story fresh and intriguing. Can't wait to read her new book Alpha Unleashed! Read more
Review:This episode brings together all the characters in the series as strengthened by their close friendship. It shows how "sticking together" through thick and thin gets the job done, even against great odds. And yet, it leaves the reader at the end wanting to know what the future holds for each of the characters, some as couples and all as very closely bonded friends in their joint fight against negative/bad/evil in the world. This work inspires us to "get together" to help each other -- it is T... Read more
Review:The book itself was okay, found myself skipping over the parts where someone tried to catch her up on some ancient history to which she was unaware. It felt a bit fictional and not "real world" that she was attacked at 1 then 2 and of course 3 social functions but yet she kept going to them. Not to mention she is supposedly the harbinger of death and damnation but no one seemed to take it seriously letting her go about her everyday life just lalala and let's just see what happens. At the poin... Read more
Review:I was disappointed with this novel. After reading Companions of the Night, by Vivian Vande Velde, I thought I'd give this one a chance. Waste of money. It's overly mushy, it lacks suspense, it's annoying at times and the matter-of-fact considerations about death left me cold. Oh and the word "stars" is used just a little too repetitively for my taste. It's no thriller, nothing thrills here. And not a spark of sense of humour. OK, I might as well say it: it sucks. Read more
