Review:The books were a Christmas gift for my two granddaughters, ages 7 & 6. They live in different cities and when one finishes a book she will mail it to her cousin so that both get to read all 9 books. They said that now they have their own book club. Love that they are resting at such young ages.r Read more
Review:(Originally posted on Michelle & Leslie's Book Picks book blog.)
Rain Reign was amazing, powerful, emotional and I really related to it. I'm giving it 5/5 stars.
To tell you guys the truth, when I was contacted to review** Rain Reign I didn't quite know what to expect, especially because it's described as a "powerful story" and "brilliantly told." I mean, I devoured all of Ms. Martin's Babysitter's Club books I could get my hands on when I was in the fourth and fifth grade, but... Read more

Review:So thankful she stayed true to her characters in many trilogies book three is horrible filled with unnecessary plot twist. But they way she invited the new characters was seamless and truly integrated. Love the fact that Isis was able to get her power back and still manages to get the man, love the way Jack was able to release his demons and accept what his heart truly felt.
Beautiful book, series, and writing filled with true emotions. Read more
Review:SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!
Overall this was a very good book. It was a tad bit confusing but I liked how it ended up. I disliked the confusion about Grace, like what was happening with her and I still don't ship Dara (David and Tara) but those are really my only complaints. I liked how Bucky tied into the story and all of the background on Angelina. I think that passing on the powers to Grace was a great idea. And can I just say, STILL FREAKING OUT OVER AMANDA AND LEO! I have been shipping Lemanda so... Read more

Review:Bronx Masquerade
The Bronx Masquerade is a very realistic book on the life of teenagers living in the "hood" which is a very poor community. The "hood" is a place of feeling uncomfortable, unsafe, and dirty surroundings. The Bronx Masquerade is a journal of the life's of different teens in a high school. Each one describes their life, their problems, and what they want in life. Their english teacher gives the students an assignment to do for homework and didn't expect the shock of wh... Read more
Review:My 11 year old daughter was assigned this book to read for class, so I bought myself a copy and we wound up reading it together, out load with accents and a great southern drawl! It was a good story about family and the many ways that can be defined. Written very well. Read more
Review:Mary Lue Finney, a middle school student is assigned to do a journal over the summer. What starts out to Mary Lue as a boreing homework assignment turns out to be the story of her sorrowful, frustrating, romantic, mysterious, and outragious summer vacation. I rated it 8 only because I enjoyed Sharon Creech's, "Chasing Red Bird", and my favorite, "Walk Two Moons"books more, but this novel is still a masterpiece. Read more
Review:We just finished potty training our 22 month old daughter and this book was the one that worked the BEST for us.
PROS
(there are so many, so I'll just start from the beginning and move through the book)
- First page there is a place to write your daughter's name, as in "This book belongs to..." My daughter can recognize her name and I wrote it with a sharpie in large capital letters in the space provided before giving her the book. When she opened it up and saw that her name was the... Read more
