Sweet Filthy Boy (Wild Seasons)
Sweet Filthy Boy (Wild Seasons)

Review:I usually look for stories in a "series" because i hate short reads. That being said, I was drawn to this one as a filler while searching for my next big read. I was familiar with the author's writing style. I was not surprised to be pleased. Very sweet story, kept my interest the whole way, I enjoyed it ( though I wished it would go on to another book like the author's "beautiful" series which was AWESOME). No negativity here. :) Read more

Cream of the Crop (The Hudson Valley Series Book 2)
Cream of the Crop (The Hudson Valley Series Book 2)

Review:I'm still trying to get my thoughts together. What a ride. Alice Clayton once again delivers her signature hot and hilarious. Although Natalie's cheese obsession made me hungry. Too bad I can't eat cheese products.
Natalie had a crush on a certain dairy farmer but she had a problem. She couldn't say more than 3 words to him. The advertising company she worked for got a big job. Bring more city folk to their small town. She jumped at the job because her bestie Roxie lived there and there's a b... Read more

Screwdrivered (The Cocktail Series Book 3)

Review:Vivian stole the show in the "Cocktail Series." No doubt my favorite so far even though I love the other books also. Simon and Caroline make small appearances throughout the story too. I loved the humor! Read more

The Big Bad Office Wolf (Kings of the Tower Book 1)
The Big Bad Office Wolf (Kings of the Tower Book 1)

Review:Fun read with some great new characters to add to the mix. The author is very upfront about what’s going on in the book. So anyone that’s shocked should get a clue. I enjoyed the characters chemistry and I would say the sex scenes were a fun read. Can’t wait for the next one. Read more

Roman Crazy
Roman Crazy

Review:Disappointing compared to previous books I've read by Alice Clayton (Wallbanger series). Didn't feel any connection to the characters because they were never developed individually or as a couple. The glimpses into Avery's and Marcello's pasts aren't enough to go on. Missed opportunity and a let down after reading so many positive reviews. Read more

Nuts (The Hudson Valley Series)
Nuts (The Hudson Valley Series)

Review:Can Alice Clayton make a bad book... ugh... this was so sweet and loving I have a tooth ache... ridiculous... I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a good old fashioned no drama necessary book to read. Seriously pick it up... it's funny, captivating, good storm detailed characters that you love to follow and has a wonderful story line. Way to go. Read more

Buns (The Hudson Valley Series Book 3)
Buns (The Hudson Valley Series Book 3)

Review:This book is an homage to old school Hollywood stories. As his name implies, Archie Bryant is an old-fashioned guy. Starting with bow-ties and suits, he is the general manager of the Bryant Mountain House in Bailey Falls, New York. This hotel has been in the Bryant Family for five generations and needs a complete overhaul if it is going to compete in the market.

Clara Morgan is a specialist that helps rebrand hotel properties. She is good at her job because she is totally committed to ... Read more

Pieces of Her: A Novel
Pieces of Her: A Novel

Review:Very different from her other books, and not in a good way. All of the characters were hard to like, or to relate to. Ms Slaughter has written plenty of really good reads, I recommend reading one of those and skipping this one entirely. Read more

Young Jane Young: A Novel
Young Jane Young: A Novel

Review:Too many implausibilities in this book. Interesting characters are dropped and never returned to including Jane's mother and grandmother and even her daughter. Backtracks to the "blog" which we read enough about already. Had potential but missed the mark. Read more
