Fighting For You (Danvers series Book 4)
Fighting For You (Danvers series Book 4)

Review:I struggled to finish this book. I blame it completely on the author’s vague and inconsistent references to the lead male character’s military service.

First, there are five military services (Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines & Coast Guard – yes, the Coast Guard is considered a military service) – not once (so far) has the author stated what service the male lead served in.

Second, she states in one passage that he has a “Semper Fi” tattoo (leading the reader to believe he serve... Read more

Not Planning On You: A Danvers Novel
Not Planning On You: A Danvers Novel

Review:Great read! The characters have already been set up in Danver's Book 1 "Weekends Required" so you jump right in with this one. I think this makes the ongoing tension that much longer. I was totally cheering for both main characters, so the heartbreak was a little upheaving but the finale was awesome and that much sweeter. Read more

Always Loving You (Danvers series Book 6)
Always Loving You (Danvers series Book 6)

Review:YOWZA...Always Loving You...love the title, love the cover, LOVED the story and the characters! Loved it all.

Sydney did an incredible job writing this journey of Avie and Mac. I laughed out loud, giggled, hurt for them, fell in love, was angry and happy, felt sweetness and love along with true friendship amongst the characters. She sure knows how to make you feel so much as the pages turn and oh man is there some amazing sexiness going on!

How amazing the journey of Avie and Mac... Read more

A Danvers Novel (Danvers series Book 1) - Weekends Required

Review:Weekends Required is one of the best books I have ever read! It is captivating and I could not put the book down! Claire is my favorite character. She is simple and plain. I read this book in one day! I was so interested and just as soon as I finished this book, I bought Not Planning on You! Both books are great! They have a great story behind them and I would reccomend them to anyone! Read more

A Heather Wells Mystery (Heather Wells Mysteries)
A Heather Wells Mystery (Heather Wells Mysteries)

Review:Meg Cabot is the author of the extremely successful Princess Diaries series and several popular chick lit titles for the more mature reader. In her latest book, Size 12 Is Not Fat, she has moved into the cozy mystery genre. Her writing sparkles with the same humor and wit found in her previous novels.

Heather Wells was once a teen pop star, adored by her fans, and made into a household name. She had it all, a great career, a fantastic boyfriend and plenty of money in the bank. That is... Read more

The Boy Next Door: A Novel (The Boy Series)
The Boy Next Door: A Novel (The Boy Series)

Review:Romantic comedies can be a dime-a-dozen, but this one has really stood out. the way it was written in all emails was great for getting all the characters points of view firsthand. This is the first laugh-out-loud funny book i've read in a while. I loved the way the super model wrote emails in the same way as the little girls. Also, many books of this genre throw in a twist like the attempted murder of the elderly neighbor at the end, unexpectedly, but Cabot had this going from the beginning with... Read more

Royal Wedding: A Princess Diaries Novel
Royal Wedding: A Princess Diaries Novel

Review:I like meg cabot books because they are usually a fun, quirky, and easy read. The latest installment did these things, but i was a little disappointed over mias lack of character development. I found her to be a pretty big whiner. I expect that from a teenage mia, but not a 25 year old. Also, when i heard this was supposed to be an adult novel, i was expecting scenes similar to whats in the queen of babel series or even ransom my heart. The storyline is predictable, which i thought after reading... Read more

A Novel (Heather Wells Mysteries Book 5) - The Bride Wore Size 12

Review:Firstly, I read this series like 6 years ago, and I totally did not know that this book existed HAHA. I thought that when Heather and Cooper said they were going to get married, that was the happy ending. Little did I know that THIS IS THE LAST BOOK. Even during the preparations for her wedding day, Heather Wells attracted trouble. As always. Even before school started at Fischer Hall, a murder was already commited. Hmm. This book didn't really exude that "OMG" feeling, even though it was the fi... Read more
