Review:Beautifully poignant and beautifully written, As Bright As Heaven deals with one families trials and heartache during during a harsh time in American history. One ripe with a war ending and a deadly disease on the cusp of infecting millions and leaving almost everyone affected by both.
Starting in 1918 and spanning the length of 8 years we get to meet the Brights who from the very first chapter are dealing with a loss no family should have to go through.

Review:This was a thought provocing story. It may seem far-fetched to someone who has not experienced it, but it was very real to me. It should be a lesson to anyone contemplating marrying into a broken family. I have experienced this first hand and this book depicts a situation which is so difficult that it can be , and often is, a deal breaker. In my case it was a step-son who did all that he could to break up our marriage, forcing my husband to make a choice. Fortunately, because of our deep Faith ... Read more
Review:I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The romance and people who inhabit the small town of Happily inc and fun and quirky and friends. What struck me more than anything, reading this book, were Susan Mallery’s wonderful descriptions. I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to directly quote the novel so decided not to do so, but trust me her language in describing the people who are friends and family just fit so well. I love the 3 brothers each of whom are artists who can’t imagine doing anything else. ... Read more

Review:A different take on the private eye story. Sydney Brennan is smart, persistent, and not what I expected. The story is fully-developed, plot twists unpredictable. (It needs to be said, however, that I'm always surprised that the butler did it.) I was very pleased with this inaugural novel by Judy K. Good job! Read more
Review:Just a great story about two hardened young people that have shut out the world. Jake was a doctor in the Army but now is a mechanic. Brianna shoulders a heavy burden and closes herself to the world. One wonders how they will ever trust Read more
Review:Very interesting concept for a story line. About the time you think "I''m running out of book, where is this going?", it all comes together & really does it quite nicely.
You will like Kat & Joel; & may even wonder where the heck it's all going with Maria & Larry? There's even a tad bit of a mystery to wonder about & try to figure out the answer to. No matter, enjoy the read. Read more
Review:this was a cute story with lovable characters. Though at times the story line was a bit unbelievable, I was still hooked. Until a little more than half way through where it really slowed down. From that point on it was very hard to continue reading but I did because I had to know how it ended. The ending was a bit disappointing, I found it to be a tad cheesy. This was a great story with tons of potential that wasn't developed fully. All in all I did enjoy it and I will give this author ano... Read more
