Review:If you want a funny, best friends to lovers book, look no further than this. This is a must one-click for you!
I loved reading this. I did wish that Cam and Natalie weren’t so blind to how the other was feeling. But that angst built the story.
Who would think that more than friends feelings, for your best friend of over a decade, would just randomly hit you out of the blue? That’s what happens to both Natalie and Cam.
They fight it, or try to. Especially Cam because of ... Read more
Review:While the writing and storyline were both okay, I absolutely hate a cliff hanger when there is no warning that there will be one. The entire story was a waste of time when none of the conflicts and problems of the story, of which there are plenty, are solved. Read more
Review:I am literally kicking myself for not reading the third installment of this trilogy when it originally came out. It was so much better than the first two....and much more passionate!
I could understand Olivia's internal struggle to trust Noah's true intentions after catching him in such an uncompromising position. Secrets as big as the heir clause in their inheritance contract can destroy a relationship, though I fault Olivia for not reading before signing. She should have known better! N... Read more
Review:I have read other books by Kendall Ryan and enjoyed this book as well. The characters are well thought out and brought out in the book by their personalities through her writing. The chapters were not long so there was plenty of time to read a few when time was available. The book also did not stale out you wanted to keep reading to find out what was going to happen. It did have a chapter early in the book that was misnumbered so I thought I had missed it so it took me a minute to figure out. ... Read more
Review:Mister Tonight checked all of my single hot dad trope boxes - a great dad, a brave heroine, and a plucky adorable little girl.
In Mister Tonight, Kate is looking for a one night stand to recharge her batteries before moving into a new apartment and starting the next chapter of her life. She finds Hunter at a bar and promptly follows him back to his place for what promises to be a hot night... until his young daughter interrupts their fun times at a very inopportune time. Mortified, Kate b... Read more
Review:The book caught me right away, however, like a lot of books, it flip flopped back and forth leaving you to adjust but as you got into the book it made you want to hurry back to the other's to find out the next thing, I rated the book as a four because I felt the author ended it too soon. I would recommend this book to book clubs; with a sequel to follow. Read more
Review:This book was OK but a disappointment after her book "Orphan Train." While the action and issues of ''Orphan Train" leaped off the pages and carried this reader along a delightful journey, this book seemed hastily put together without as much thought or purpose. While being told how to cook garlic was fine the first time, I did not need to be reminded so many times. Including a few recipes and cooking talk would have been acceptable. At times it seemed to be a cookbook as much as a novel. I foun... Read more
Review:Anita Shreve is one of my favorite authors - she certainly did not let me down with this well-written novel. It was especially interesting to me since I knew nothing about the great fire on the Maine Coast in 1947! Read more
Review:Well written....but a slow story. No suspense and too predictable. I can't believe anyone thought this was " a great read.". Once you are introduced , you know immediately ..."who did what." How can a girl be missing 10 yrs and several in the book continually refer to her as "missing?" The implication throughout the book is that she is either missing , didn't want to be found or simply ran away. How can the disappearance of a friend traumatized a person to the point that they barely function? Fr... Read more
Review:I have enjoyed all of Melissa Fosters books and eagerly await the next one! This book was just as good as all of her other books and I love how she moves from series to series. Her books are addicting! Read more
