Review:Beautiful book. The characters, storyline, and writing were excellent. Many other reviews are giving a good account of the book so I won’t repeat that. Rather, I will just say how this book made me feel...hopeful, grateful, and fortunate. My only complaint is that this book ended. Read more
Review:Even though I finished the book feeling emotionally drained I still wish it were longer. I've loved everything this author has written. She really knows how to develop characters and pull you in to a story so you feel completely invested in the outcome. Read more
Review:This has probably become my favorite book! Since I grew up in the Southwestern United States, the American Indian lore in this book is fascinating to me. The love story is sweet. My husband is retired military, so the military touches are welcomed by me. It's just a great read. I lent it to my sister-in-law, and she finished it in a week and loved it, as well. I'm passing along the info for this book to everyone who knows I like to read a good story. Read more
Review:I finished reading 53 Letters For My Lover 2 days ago. Leylah Attar gently destroyed me and pieced me back together with her brilliant and eloquent prose. She is a true wordsmith. After finishing 53 Letters For My Lover (followed by From His Lips), I knew I needed to immediately dive head first into The Paper Swan. Sometimes, I find authors write very similar stories which is fine, but predictable. The Paper Swan is an absolutely beautiful tale about love, loss, vengeance, redemption, and peace.... Read more
Review:HOLY SQUEEZZZE! MY HEART <3 This is yet another EPIC love story from Mia Sheridan.
So, what is this story about? The synopsis below said it all … so I won’t repeat myself.
The moment she met Callen Hayes, eleven-year-old Jessica Creswell knew he was a broken prince. Her prince. They became each other's refuge, a safe and magical place far from their troubled lives. Until the day Callen kissed her--Jessica's first real, dreamy kiss—and then disappeared from her life without a word.
Review:I chose this at random because I find some amazing books that way. Not this time I am afraid. First off this is a novel about a baby given up for adoption and I really dislike that as a plot theme. There are estranged family members working things out and some fairly obvious mysteries. I knew where the book as going within the first couple chapters and it did not let me down.
The writing is just fine but many of the characters felt like stock roles rather than complex people. I did like t... Read more

Review:Though each family member is flawed, each has one virtue-a love of family. Family is not only those through blood-line. These themes make this novel a realistic portrait of the real families of today we all desire and strive for. Read more
Review:A wonderful love story, if not a little predictable.
Found myself getting a little annoyed by the main characters, Pearce seems a little too perfect and Lexi needs to get over herself.
Having said that all in all a good story, but would have been better without the grammar and spelling errors! Read more
