Women's Fiction
Review:I enjoyed how Roberts was able to interweave fantasy and reality at the same time. This book best suits young readers but a refresher for more mature readers my age who need a breather from more serious reading subjects. Read more
Review:I love all the Nora Roberts books, and this story is excellent, it has romance intertwined with rejuvenating an old mansion, while an old murder mystery comes to life to be solved. I love when Nora puts paranormal and ghosts/haunted houses etc. into her stories, it makes them so much fun to read..and pulls you into the story and the characters. I'd highly recommend this book. Review:Wonderful characters throughout. Your attention was grasped and held for the entire read. You're not able to pick it up for a complete read with your first sitting so you make time to return to it until you're finished, then immediately review some of your favorite pages. Read more
Review:Nora Roberts has done it again. The way she brings characters to life is enchanting. I loved reading this part of the trilogy and following the lives of the women involved. I especially loved the plot line of the Harper Bride. Needless to say, the gardens were an intricate part of this book and their descriptions were just lovely. Read more
Review:After enjoying Dan Simmons 'The Terror' and 'Drood' tremendously, I feel let down by this piece of 'historic fiction'. I can honestly say that I have been bored from beginning to end. First, the character of Paha Sapa is rather flat, not really likeable, and definitely not a protagonist I would like to identify with. Then there is the ghost of General Custer, which is at any rate only a nuisance and does not really add any substance to the plot.

Review:For those who like a little magic with their romance, this is a really good book. There is just enough romance, magic, and action to keep you interested. The author doesn't repeat what happened earlier unnecessarily, as some romance authors do. I am enjoying this trilogy, as I enjoyed the "Key" trilogy. Read more
Review:I enjoyed every minute of the plot and the characters; however, the person who narrated this audiobook had a voice that grated on my nerves. I stopped listening and bought the paperback because the voice was so annoying. Read more
