Review:Couldn't put it down! Sanderson is a vivid storyteller that holds the imaginative theme, characters and events together even as he takes the reader into a magical realm that bursts with color!

Review:I just really love his writing style. He made me love reading when I was a teenager, and I'm quite a bit older than that now! He brings back characters and places into new told stories and you feel like they are your old friends and hangouts. He can be a funny guy too. Very witty. Read more
Review:I like the premise, but found the cursing by the hero and villian to be off-putting. It served little to no purpose other than showing the author knows how to use the F word. I did not finish reading the book, due to the gratuitous language. Read more
Review:Even though it was an easy read, it was heartfelt and inspiring. I am from Virginia, have family living in Waynesboro and am very familiar with the area. For those who enjoyed "Marley and Me", they will also love this book. Read more
Review:Rarely have I encountered and read a book which gets into the minds and hearts of the characters as well as this one. I am in awe of the author's skill in laying out an intricate and sensitive plot in which the characters are likable in spite of their obvious flaws.
The character of Jack, the husband, is well drawn and strangely sympathetic when the back story reveals that he and Emmy have been trapped by their circumstances when they were too young to cope. That Jacks' solution and the re... Read more
Review:I was so sorry when I turned to the last page. I loved, loved this book, as I have loved, loved Tartt's other novels. Her writing is so vivid, so visual that it almost feels like you're immersed in a great film. Interesting characters, plots, twists, and some of the best writing around. How long do I have to wait for her next book? Read more
Review:This is NOT good. The author starts out by telling a greatly interesting AND DIFFERENT story about a KING and his devastated people, lost and barely surviving (for 300 years) in a frozen lannd and their quest and struggle to find their way back home, through variance, strength and , yes, magic... then, the author suddenly goes back to the same thing as in his first book if this saga and lets you wondering whatever happened to this formidable king and people until the last few pages, where he let... Review:I will repeat what others have said, because it is true. This book was just…Wow. Life can change in an instant, and Abbie’s does. She had what she thought was the perfect life, but everything changes in an instant, leaving her reeling and trying to figure out her way forward. This was an amazing read. The characters were so well done, I felt the emotions right along with them. The story line moves so easily and quickly, I found myself reading and turning pages just as quickly. I didn’t want to... Review:The first book was a page turner but this one reminded me of the Walk Series. I liked the Walk Series and thought I was through it until I read this one. It was a daily log of his walk on Route 66 - so boring and then a few interesting discussions here & there. I found myself skipping several pages so that I could get through it and see if he reaches his final destination. Another disappointment that there is no ending. I won't read the next one in this series. Read more
Review:I found "Love Finds You" book one hard to get into. The dialogue seemed a bit stilted and I could not connect with the heroine, Jen. I found it hard to identify with her since her lifestyle was so different from mine. If she hadn't been so stuck-up when dealing with "country folk" I may have found it easier. Still, I was soon connected with Aunt Gabby, Annie and Zach and their characters and interactions kept me reading. The plot seemed to improve as the book progressed but perhaps that's b...
