Review:This is a wonderful and very engaging fantasy novel. Autumn is clever with descriptions and her characters, this is one of those rare stories where the events are easily rendered in the mind's eye. She has a fertile and ingenious imagination that will make you jealous you didn't write this first. I expect many more great things from this author and am looking forward very much to the sequel. Review:What a fun read! The Girl from Everywhere takes its readers on an exploration of history. Both real history and fantastical history in the form of maps. If someone believed it was real and made a map, Captain Slate could travel there on his ship.
But Captain Slate is on a mission . . . to find a map that can take him to Hawaii, circa 1864 when his wife was still alive. Trouble is, his daughter, Nixie, is certain this will erase her existence.
I loved this book. I loved the historic... Read more

Review:I have read all the Eternity Spring books and Lovers' Leap is a wonderful story. You will not be disappointed. The characters are well written the descriptions of the settings are so well written you feel as though you are there. This series is so good you want keep reading them over and over. I just love it when things work out the way they should, especially when the town "bad boy" is involved. My eyes have leaked a few times and I have laughed out loud while reading this touching story. Review:It is hard for most of us to really understand a life so filled with tragic times but I know that it happens to many people. Sheryl’s life was filled with both physical and emotional abuse. I can understand why she found it hard to forgive her stepfather and step-brother. Homecoming is a very moving story of loss, anger, bitterness, forgiveness, reconciliation and LOVE.
I loved the story of Sheryl and Mark. Through the love shown by Mark and his family Sheryl found her way back to God. I ... Read more
Review:I found that I became an avid fantasy enthusiast after reading the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and The Hobbit. There was an endless search I went through for a book with a similar appeal Tolkien was able to generate through his style of writing. I never thought I would enjoy that kind of adventure again. But I did! I think everyone can agree that authors who take on such a project will have many difficulties building the proper atmosphere and characters a fantasy book/series should have. This is o... Review:Very enjoyable, it is so hard for me to find the words to explain why I enjoyed this book. The only thing I didn't figure out was why you didn't tie up the mystery. Its kinda like you left it dangling or else I missed something. ?☺ Read more
Review:I was super excited to read Kate DiCamillo's latest book, Raymie Nightingale, and when I finally got it from the library I read it right away. After reading, Raymie Nightingale, I can say that this book is probably my least favorite DiCamillo book. **Sadness**
Raymie Nightingale gets 3.5 out of 5 Stars in my book review. I feel this middle grade fiction book is best for 4th though 7th grade. It's a lovely coming of age story about unlikely friendships, and I think it is a valuable and ... Read more

Review:Malcolm is fun. He's got a different perspective. A super intellectual he's not (nor am I), but he's a solid writer and asks questions others don't. I'd recommend this book and his others. I'd also recommend a haircut, but that's his personal choice. Read more
