Review:I'm a huge fan of J.R. Ward and the Blackdagger Brotherhood so this was a perfect quick read for me - I wish there were more, I could read them everyday! The guys are great and the women are strong and can really "handle" their men :) Thanks! Read more
Review:This is a very intriguing series. I don't normally read paranormal romance books but now that I've started this series I'm hooked. A team is in place to rescue the princess lead by her best friend's brother. The princess's kidnapper is sexy and she's in no rush to be found. First she has no prospects for a mate and now she has two. Will she choose her captor, who is immortal but one of her family's mortal enemies or the brother of her best friend, who could become immortal if he decides to risk... Read more
Review:JR Ward creates a highly exciting world in which the vampires are not the bad guys and in this incarnation are trying to protect their world from the enemy - the albino Lessers. Its based around the Black Dagger brotherhood - vampires bred specifically as warriors to protect their people and is the story of their lives - their highs, their lows, their triumphs and their failures. Each character is meticulously crafted and stands out from the page as real as if they were standing in front of you ... Read more
Review:No issues with the writing or characters but I wouldn't call this a story. It's a prolog of character development. Period. I am not a fan of authors selling books through the incomplete storyline guised as a "prequel". I won't be taking the bait. Read more
Review:Devil’s Cut is without doubt my favorite of the Bourbon Kings series. I’ve struggled with the previous two books, mainly because of how long and drawn out the story is, but everything finally comes together in this masterpiece of an ending. I loved every part of this conclusion – there was never a dull moment, and I actually liked the characters by the end. For those of you who have been eagerly waiting to see just how the Baldwine children and their glorious fortune, estate, and company end up,... Read more
Review:Do not waste your money on these books. They are prosaic, cliched and just plain terribly written. The world does not need yet another vampire saga, especially one with as few original characters or ideas as this series. If you are looking for some really original characters with sizzling sex to boot, the Anita Blake series is much, much better. SO sorry I made this purchase. Read more

Review:First let me say that I am a HUGE fan of the Legend of Drizzt series. I have all of the novels and one of the graphic novels which included The Dark Mirror. It was interesting to see the differences between the graphic novel and Salvatore's penned work.
I'll be honest, there was not a story in this collection I did not like. As mentioned above, the contrast between what I had seen in the graphic novel version of The Dark Mirror and Bob's writing was interesting, but in my humble opinion, ... Read more
Review:Okay so I'm very weird when it comes to series novels. I cannot get thru a whole series completely that has 3 books let alone one that has 28. In fact the only two series that I was able to read fully and love was The Lord Of The Rings (Hobbit included plus Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales) and of course Harry Potter because who doesn't love Harry Potter (I'll tell you NO ONE!!!!). To be honest I actually didn't think I'd like Salvatore all that much despite the fact that his books take up an e... Read more
Review:I looked forward to reading this book after beginning the Amazon series and perhaps that's why I was left disappointed. I credit the author with what surely was a tremendous amount of effort. However, in giving Zelda a voice the author has managed to drain her of all personality. Characters felt superficial and worst of all boring. It is difficult to fathom this Zelda inspiring great American literature. Will we ever really know the real Zelda? Read more
