Review:I wasn't prepared for how much I would like this book. I thought I would be put off by the lack of suspense regarding Abbie's prognosis. But this book is brilliantly written and there are surprises and adventures along the way and even at the end. It is a rich and rewarding look at a husband's never-ending love for his wife, in sickness and in health. The story alternates between the story of Doss and Abbie's courtship with the story of their last ten days together. Abbie has ten dreams she woul... Read more
Review:I like the way he brings his characters to life. I find myself grieving for some of them. This is the second book I have read by him. I have recommended them to others and they have liked the books themselves. Read more
Review:If you are a seeker of God's truth and believe all that is written in the bible, then read this. But If you are afraid to find out you have been wrong in your believe all your Christian life, then, this book is not for you. Let me just remind you that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but He has clearly stipulated that the truth shall set you free, and you shall be free indeed!
Wonderful book specially for those who want to understand clearly the Sovereignty of God in Salvation.

Review:If you can imagine, the time is 3:30 AM, like in the morning, and I am reading The Lost Choice. I found the book compelling and I was unable to put it down. I particularly like not only what Andy Andrews had to write about, I liked the way he wrote it. It was extremely interesting, held my attention and conveyed a most worthwhile message. If you read his first book, The Traveler's Gift, you can understand that something you do can ultimately change the world. The Lost Choice takes it a step... Read more
Review:While I know these are works of fiction, it gives a good look into what the coming our our Savior could be like. No one on earth knows the day or the hour, not even Christ when He will be told to have the horn sounded for His return to Rapture His 'bride' the church, the believers. Not all church goers are true believers, they just go through the motions. Good works alone will not get you into heaven. I am looking forward to adding and reading this issue and the next that will complete my set. Read more

Review:David Platt urged Christ-followers to jettison the American dream and opt for a life of service to the glory of God in his first book, Radical. His follow-up work, Radical Together takes his proposal one step further by challenging the Body of Christ to extend God's grace to the world. One central question drives the book: "How can we in the church best unleash the people of God in the Spirit of God with the Word of God for the glory of God in the world?"
Platt shows how six key ideas ... Read more

Review:I read the book about 6 years ago when contemplating a career change. The biblical principles brought to light in the book were a huge encouragement to me then, and are as I am now just finished reading it again. I'm again in the midst of, not only a career change, but seeking to just be more obedient to The Lord in all areas of my life. This book I would highly recommend for those who, like me, tend sometimes to get discouraged, fear failure, and need encouragement to move forward. Mr. Ortberg'... Read more
