Review:I wanted to read the Bourne series because I really loved the movies. However, I quickly began to realize that the movies are nothing like the books. They are still very interesting and for the time it was written so filled with detail. It's just funny nowadays reading about tapes to record things on. Though I liked the movies better, the books were interesting for me to read. There's even a very interesting discussion Bourne has with a Russian agent in the Bourne Ultimatum that reveals a v... Review:Jason Bourne has given me much pleaseure over the years. I loaded this one on kindle with anticipation.
The violence in the opening pages was over the top.
Then the scene set in Russian security felt just like that in which Jason has been involved so many times before - in Russia or the US.
The book turned me off and did not interest me enough to continue readingg. Read more
Review:The Jason Bourne sub series is exciting because it has memories of the Cold War, yet brings into account the current state of political affairs and the spate of bad guys associated with it. I like the series because Mr. Bourne simply kicks ass. Read more
Review:Lustbader doesn't bring his best game to this book! Just a little lose and at times not up to the Bourne style that we've all expected!
Bottom line though Bourne on even an off day is better then most! Read more

Review:Lustbader did not disappoint me. I was always a little disappointed with RL's writing style, but liked the Bourne character. Lustbader adds dimension and "character" to the Bourne persona. Well done! Read more
Review:Poor Jason Bourne. Everything he touches turns to mud. In all of his hand-to-hand skirmishes, he meets one unexpected defeat after another. Well, that's an understatement. The man experiences absolute cascades of defeats. Nothing ever goes right for him. It's uncanny. He has his neck garroted so many times in this novel, I'm surprised he doesn't end up speaking with a squeak. Yet it seems that no matter how many times he's sent away unwanted, no matter how many times he's sent away unlov... Read more

Review:In this, book 15 of Robert B. Parkers Jesse Stone Series, author Reed Farrell Coleman pens yet another sterling chapter in the life of Paradise, MA Police Chief Jesse Stone. And while the entire novel seemed to have a sense of foreboding, I was truly saddened by the ending. But then, given the path of Jesse Stone's life, and what makes his story so palpable, I suppose it had to be.
I've likely said too much already, so I'll not recount the story here. The summary can be gained elsewhere. I ... Read more
