Brandon Sanderson's White Sand Vol. 1
Brandon Sanderson's White Sand Vol. 1

Review:I enjoyed the story, though it had quite a different feel than Sanderson's usual works. This may be because it's a graphic novel, so only the dialog and narration are visible. You can read my full review over on MySF Reviews. Read more

Hysterically true tales from a comedian's haywire life (COMEDY
Hysterically true tales from a comedian's haywire life (COMEDY

Review:I loved it! Laughed so hard I cried. Rodney takes eveyday things, that happens to most of us, and turns them into something hilarious! I have to say his sense of humor is a little warped but it's been great getting a little glimpse of what's goning on in Rodney's mind. Can't wait for the next book! Read more

Ms. Marvel Vol. 1: No Normal (Ms. Marvel Series)
Ms. Marvel Vol. 1: No Normal (Ms. Marvel Series)

Review:Amazing to see a Muslim minority superhero, but more than that it’s actually really well done as a Marvel comic in general. Also the challenges she faces as a minority are well depicted, it’s not stereotyping and just felt so right. Can’t wait to read more! Read more

The Long Way Home (Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Buffy Season Eight Volume 1
The Long Way Home (Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Buffy Season Eight Volume 1

Review:I was so looking forward to more Buffy. But I found this collection scattered and lacking in the character and depth of the show. The art is beautiful, and the basic ideas are OK, but the story is scattered and confusing. And though the 'future world' for Buffy and friends is neat, I was sad to see Buffy and Willow (and Xander in his own way) relagated to simple superheroes instead of richly charactered, complex people who had greatness thrust upon them. Still, I'll be back for more. Read more

Wonder Woman: Warbringer (DC Icons Series)

Review:Thank you to Blogging for Books for a physical copy in exchange for my honest review.

Leigh Bardugo has done it again. I loved her Shadow and Bone Trilogy and I have now loved Wonder Woman!

If you've seen the movie just forget almost everything about it when it comes to this book. Well maybe besides how good Gal Gadot is an amazing Wonder Woman. Okay, Let's get to the actual book now.

Princess Diana is the underdog on the Island she's the Queens daughter and because she hasn... Read more

The Exile: An Outlander Graphic Novel
The Exile: An Outlander Graphic Novel

Review:I have never been so disappointed in anything in my life!! I took the word "graphic" to mean that the story would be bloodthirsty etc because it was supposed to be the story told from Jamie's point of view. It ended up being a lurid comic strip thing on shiny paper and the drawings were terrible in my opinion. I suppose we all have a picture in our head about what Jamie and Claire might look like but this book ruined it for me. I have shown this book to family and friends and they are all di... Read more

Infinity Gauntlet
Infinity Gauntlet

Review:This collects #1-6 of Infinity Gauntlet and I must state, this comic provides great significance within the Marvel Comic Universe! The range of characters and constant change of setting is outstanding whereas Jim also perfectly portrays Thanos of superior strength but somewhat can not achieve some tasks he desperately requires. Overall, this is a great comic to read as the ending provides pathways to more intriguing stories. Read more
