Review:Victorian romance! With a twist (well many twists). The Oregon Shakespeare Festival is making this into a play for 2015. Everyone at work is reading this book. Great plot. Could not put this book down.. Glad I had purchased for my kindle so I could read it all night long. Read more
Review:It is rare that you find yourself deliberately reading slowly because you want to savour every sentence, every phrase, every word in a novel, and because you don't want the experience to finish. Rich, layered characters, with subtle and complex themes, and an extremely clever plot. John Boyne is magnificent. Read more
Review:I started reading and literally couldn't put it down. The story surprised me on many levels. I think that I was expecting a witty, lighthearted, supernatural, romantic romp in a more modern setting. While the characters are certainly witty when appropriate and there are definitely romance and the supernatural, the book turned out to be much more than the sum of its parts. The Sumage Solution, much to my surprise, is a cleverly crafted story about, among other things, what it means to be a fa... Read more
Review:SE Jakes is Larissa Ione's other writing half who makes up Sydney Croft, and happens to be published by Riptide. I'm not sure if she suggested that LI comes to the latter for her first foray into MM, but if so, perhaps they should have collaborated on this.

All those demons still seem to lie in wait, in the deep corners of her mind. I know, it takes a distinctive kind of strength to build your life with them in the basement.

Review:I had some trouble getting into the book which is unusual for this author’s work. For some reason I just couldn’t connect with the characters. But knowing how much I always love Kennedy’s writing I stuck with it and things finally clicked and here I am at 3:30 am writing this review because I had to stay up to finish the book!
It took me a while to connect with Vaughn and Aleks. I found the character development slow, things were too vague. The story arc pacing was also slow at first. It ... Read more
Review:Okay...Ben and Reese may be my new favorite Marian couple!
The Protectors meet the Marian’s!
Reece, known from the Sloane’s Protectors Series, is charged with following Ben, gaming guru, and long lost brother of Griff, from Lucy’s Made Marian Series.
Throw in Georgia, Ben’s young sister, and Princess Kitty(?) and you have yourself another hit by Lucy and Sloane!
Highly entertaining and emotionally charged, I highly recommend this book! Read more
