Review:Fast Connection was another huge hit for me, and I love what Megan Erickson and Santino Hassell have been doing with this series. The book was a well-written and fast-paced book, with developed characters and an engaging story.
I read this in one sitting, that was how much I enjoyed it. I could not put it down, staying up past my bedtime so I could see what happened between Dominic and Luke. Their story was so great, and it kept me hooked without unnecessary drama or twists. It was all ve... Read more
Review:Before I started this book I knew I should expect dark and gritty. I knew I should expect roller coaster feelings. I knew I should expect out of this world hot sex scenes... I got all of this. What I did not expect was to be hit so hard by this story.
Have you ever read a book and found a character and said... Oh, hell! I've been there. I've seen this. I've felt that. I've thought that exact same thing... And then realize how difficult, and how painful is to find yourself in that characte... Read more
Review:I love Maximoff and Farrow so deeply you guys have knocked their story out of the park. Every time I read about these families it feels like coming home, but these guys are super special. If you haven't read about the Hales, Colbalts, or Meadows I shout at you go NOW. Read more
Review:Absolutely loved this story! Kai definitely touched my heart, his story is so real. What he deals with each day is something lots of people deal with day in and day out. This story hit close to home for me, having a daughter with the same social anxieties. Very heartfelt book, couldn't put it down! Read more
Review:"His satisfied smile stretches from cheek-to-cheek. Somewhere in some alternate universe, I’m a philosopher writing dissertations on that *freaking* smile. And its sheer effect on me."
So, this book was SOOOO much better than number one!!! Obviously, it had sexual moments but it wasn't the WHOLE book like last time. This time we got more intimate moments that made my heart swell up. Let's start with the writing. This was such a glorious romance but it also had an interesting plot it wasn'... Read more
Review:a great lesbian memoir - coming of age in strict Christian church upbringing in England.
I read this several times long ago and still remember the characters and scenes.
this book introduced me to the writing of Jeanette Winterson, who has become a beacon
in the gay literary world. I'm grateful for all her work. I recommend you read several of her books, in succession.
Get to the know the whole body of astounding work.
I'd give this book to anyone struggling with acceptance ... Read more
Review:Sellevision is one of the funniest books that I have read in quite a long time. Sellevision is one of the premier television shopping networks and the book follows the lives of its colorful hosts. The reader is taken behind the scenes of Sellevision into the almost soap operatic environment of backstabbing, sex, love, greed ... and the list goes on and on. It is truly a voyeur's dream.
Peggy Jean Smythe, a devout Christian and star host of the network, is brutally harassed by an unknow... Read more
Review:I'm not normally a historical romance type person but this series is amazing. The characters burst to life and there are all sorts of intricacies woven in that keep them dynamic - so you never feel bored. Instead you feel like you are discovering just a bit about each of them as the story progresses. I adore the secondary characters who bring charm, wit, and an extra layer of depth. The fact it is a historical does not mean it is steeped in history - but it is awash in all sorts of themes from h... Read more
Review:I wish more authors could emtwine a good story as this. I tried the audio but for some reason I was fond of the voice and impressions of the charactees. I guess the story unfolded magically in my own imagination. But it is by far the best read and its very rare to find a good developing story where the characters aren't rushed into a scene. Thanks for sharing this story with the world. It was lovely weaved to where situations seem real and not really fabricated. Read more
