Business & Finance
Review:Having taken Managerial Accounting before, I find this book to be very detailed with explainations, but lack examples. It is a good book to use in class when the teacher does give some examples. But as an online student, I am navigating blind. Read more

Review:The book was intact, but was separated from the spine which is annoying as your flipping through pages and having to be careful not to have it all come apart...lt was represented as in "very good" condition and I would qualify the content as such, but the book itself was in poor condition. Review:The international edition of the 7th edition of International Business is a steal! It's the same as the hardcover US edition textbook word for word, but it's about $80 cheaper. As far as the textbook itself, it is very informative and easy to read. Read more

Review:The book itself is a great overview of finance (rating refers to the content of the book).
DO NOT BUY THE E-BOOK (negative stars?). This was my first attempt at buying a textbook in digital form, and I could not be more disappointed. I tried to save some money, but ended up buying a physical copy of the book, wasting $70, I love reading on the kindle app of my computer, but I find it an incredibly poor medium for textbooks. Unless I hear about a revolutionary update for the kindle app... Read more
Review:The contenet is great & very helpful in the trade, but i didn't like the hardcocer wrapped With the book dust jacket cover. This makes it difficult to read & maintain such a very big & bulky book. Read more
Review:I really love the approach the author took with this book. It is obvious that he knows A LOT about how crediting agencies work behind the scenes but he explains it in a way that he isn't talking over your head. He goes through things step by step and gives very pragmatic details about how to set up your day to day operation, what to label folders with, addresses, etc... I really feel after reading this book that I actually can do this. Read more
Review:This book is as amazing as it is beautifully illustrated and packed with useful tips. After reading it I've never looked the same way at charts. It's amazing how bad most of the existing charts are. It's like taking a course in professional photography and then realizing the difference between a professional photograph and an amateur snapshot. Read more
Review:As other reviewers have pointed out, this (sixth) edition of Security Analysis includes a reprint of the popular 1940 edition (Warren Buffett's favorite), minus some chapters. The deleted chapters, which can be found in the CD that accompanies the book, make room for (new) general introductory remarks to this edition and also to the eight major parts of the book, written by a variety of modern commentators. If all you really want is the 1940 edition, then the better choice for you is probably ... Read more
