Review:Surpassed all expectations. Definitely a must have for those looking to learn how to butcher from the ground up, the way it has been done for centuries. Step by step pictures are easy to follow and leaves nothing to the imagination. Not for the squeamish of faint of heart. A great reference book and instantly one of my favorites. Review:Curtis Stone is such a sensible, modern cook who creates delicious and nutritious meals and this cookbook does not disappoint. Beautifully photographed. Many approachable, realistic recipes inside. (Some cookbook authors must not live in the real world, but Curtis does and it shows in this cook book.) Review:Everything I anticipated and more. Deb Perelman is a born story-teller. She puts you in charge of your kitchen by showing/telling how to pull off culinary magic. Everything I have tried so far has been spectacular, with the exception of the popcorn cookies. That was my fault. The popcorn I used wasn't great quality and it showed in the finished product.
Nice photos, great explanations, fun anecdotes.
This book is going to stay in my best-loved cookbook rack for a long time! Read more

Review:This quickly has become my favorite and most recommended cookbook. I have a middle school age son, and love to hand this to him and have him pick out a couple meals for us each week. The photo presentation of each and every dish is so inspiring, it makes you want to eat your veggies. I love the way it is organized alphabetically by the main ingredient as well, and lets you know what is in season when at the begining of each section. Review:Best paleo cookbook (apart from Well Fed 1), and really great cookbook all around. My nonpaleo people enjoy the recipes as well. Great, robust flavors and wonderful use of easy to find spices and ingredients. Flexibility of recipes makes the book at least 3x more valuable. This and the original are my two favorite cookbooks to date. Well done!! Read more
Review:I ordered this book diet for a small planet spiral bound, though what I received was one in paper back not spiral bound.
I have the paper back one already . They didn't have what I ordered, what I wanted in stock.
It was a problem to return and complicated to deal with in the end I gave up and kept the book. Burr
