Arcanum Unbounded: The Cosmere Collection
Arcanum Unbounded: The Cosmere Collection

Review:I love Brandon Sanderson books. He is an excellent author and storyteller. The worlds that he creates are amazing and the characters in them make you want to read more and more about each. This is a great collection of his novellas and introductions/glimpses into some of the worlds of the cosmere. Read more

The Flaw in All Magic (Magebreakers Book 1)
The Flaw in All Magic (Magebreakers Book 1)

Review:Pretty good adventure-mystery. However.....most of the major female characters were not normal. These females all had super characteristics--
much admired by this NORMAL male. And the only major normal female was the powerful head of the country whose guards could not protect her in a crises and ended being tied up, unable to protect herself. I probably will read more of this author because this book did not have too many of the callous attitudes found in so much of today's entertainment. Read more

PORTAL (Portal Chronicles Book 1)

Review:I am new to Imogen Rose but got the book for $0.99 so I thought I would give it a try. I am so glad I did:) This book was fast paced which is what I need to keep me interested! I just loved it and started on book 2 as soon as I finished Portal! I would recommend this book to any reader YA and Adult alike. Collide
Collide

Review:Michelle Madow has done it again - written a very different, highly individual story. In this case a teenager attends the school Halloween dance, where she is shot. Instead of dying, however, she awakens a week earlier in a parallel universe, one where her Mom wasn’t killed in a car accident six months ago, a universe where her friends, grades and especially her boyfriend are totally different. The story explores, through the parallel universes, how choices can have long lasting impacts. It also ... Read more

A SciFi BBW/Alien Fated Mates Romance (Fire Planet Warriors Book 1)
A SciFi BBW/Alien Fated Mates Romance (Fire Planet Warriors Book 1)

Review:The fire planet was a pleasant surprise, different from so many aliens romance stories.I liked that he pretended not to know how to speak perfect English to make her laugh I thought that was a very cute touch. The idea of the planet life adapting to the fire to survive was innovative. The only complaint I have is that the sex scenes seem a little rushed. Overall it was a good read. Read more

Haven (The War of Princes, Book 1)
Haven (The War of Princes, Book 1)

Review:Wow, just wow. I have been looking for a great dystopia ever since Anglefall (Penryn's adventure) and this book may have been even better. Perhaps because this world is entirely created from the author and is so different while also being believable. I absolutely love these characters, I cried and laughed with them. I finished the book in between work and far into the night (4am!!!) The ending (no spoiler) was so emotional and yet left me with hope for a sequel. I dare not say more!!! P.S. This ... Read more
