Fairy Tales & Folklore
Review:I know I typically post stuff like this all the time, but I always mean it when I say I really loved this book. It wasn't the typical "in-between" novel while you wait for the next book to come out. In a way, it felt like it's own series. I can always tell that a book is a good one when I finish it within the day I got my hands on it! Read more
Review:This is not my typical reading matter and it took me a while to get into the story, but it truly was worth the effort. The author's imagination takes the reader on a journey spanning continents with royalty, witches and fairies. Cinderella faces tough choices along the way, accompanied by some familiar characters and imaginative and evil new ones. Definitely not a child's fairy tale, but a compelling tale for the mature teens and olderl Read more
Review:I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this book once hearing about it. Surprisingly enough I found it so compelling I finished it within a day. It's romance-y without the story completely revolving around it. It's a wonderful book that has it's own spins to Cinderella's classic tale. Read more

Review:This book is SO amazing!! But beware, if you think that this book is going to be "Beauty and the Beast" but from Adam's perspective then think again! It goes in depth into his transformation and personally I think he completely deserved what he got but this book was so well written and there are parts of the book where you get to see Adam's side of things from the movie but yeah, if you have a huge LOVE for this movie then you will love these characters. Review:“We are the same, she thought. Searching for something to keep us anchored, both alone in a crowded room.”
5 Stars easily!!! This book fascinated me. I loved Queen Coriane. I fell in love with her seamlessly. Coriane was a whisper but she didn’t use her powers for evil. Coriane was content to tinker with odds and ends and live her life. She wasn’t prepared for King Tiberas to come along and upturn her world. This is a beautiful, yet heartbreaking novella. It adds SO MUCH to the series. Read more
Review:Although I am sad to see this story end and I don't completely dig the ending. War Storm is like the rest of the books in the Red Queen series. Once you start the story immediately grabs you in and immerses you in the story like no time has passed. For the most part most of the important characters and how and where the end up is clear and again although I wasn't completely satisfied with the ending. Overall I'm happy with how this story as a whole was told. Read more
Review:Really a good story. So much action, deceit and betrayal. For a brief moment there's joy, but too soon crushed achingly.
Great characters and interaction. I don't if there is another book, but I hope so. It would be nice to see Mare have a semblance of a happy ending. Most of the time reality sucks, especially for everyone in these stories. Read more
Review:GLASS SWORD is an epic and thrilling and nail-biting and heartbreaking second installment in Victoria Aveyard’s Red Queen series. It takes readers on an action-filled and riveting journey with Mare Barrow and the Scarlet Guard as they attempt to find and save others like Mare who could be instrumental in their fight against the Silvers. With dangerous missions, deadly battles and lethal enemies awaiting them, this promises to be an intense, electrifying and unputdownable read.
