Review:I really love this author and this series. But it's hard to get involved with these characters and experience the constant lack of satisfaction. Like not getting paid for their work unless there is some sacrifice, not reaching the goal of remedying Leonidis's neuro problem, not finding Jelana. Seems to me that there is enough going on in the universe that the accomplishment of at least one of these things could have been done by now without losing the continuation of the series. Please move the ... Read more
Review:Good plot, the book kept moving. I also liked the characters, and I look forward to hearing about them again in some form. The world/setting is well-defined and well-executed, and I might start picking up some of the other books from this author in the same setting. Kudos to the author. Read more
Review:Does not matter how you feel about military service, our current state of foreign affairs, or anything else related to the politics of military action - this book offers a truly harrowing look at how we are letting those around us suffer. (Emotionally) Difficult to read (it is a surprisingly quick read) - this book changed my daily interactions both with former service members and with non-service members suffering from depression. Review:As the Expanse book series has continued--at least for me--they have been come increasingly confusing. The characters in the book are so wonderful I would hate to see the end of the Expanse series, but honestly, when you have to keep a spreadsheet its getting kind of gamesofthroneish. Read more
Review:I loved the microbiology! As crazy as that sounds... And the colonization of an alien planet still coming down to an almost wild west type of behavior when the big corporation comes to invade the dusty town already there. Then the defense of the planet is mind blowing as well as how the Roci and her crew rescue the space ships in orbit. I will say no more, read for yourself. Read more
Review:Great fights. Great struggles. Humanity realizing that depravity isn't what drives most of us but we're too scared to stop the monster before and as he rises. It happened before. I will happen again. Read more
Review:While still incorporating all of the chaotic political in-fighting, this book leads the reader on a wild ride that is full of surprises and new twists. The author continues to develop the core characters while spinning a brand new saga. Read more
Review:I thought the book was inspirational but in no way is this non- fiction. I was very disappointed that it is sold as a true story. I am not an expert but common sense tells me that no one could accomplish this the way it was presented. This is only my opinion and does not detract from the way it was written. I enjoyed reading it. Read more

Review:Just finished the book, and it definitely falls into the category of books that I wish I hadn't spent the time reading. It's kind of a muddled mess, and has no coherent narrative. Not one of the better books coming out of the current wars. Read more
