Review:I've looked through some of the other reviews of this book here on this website before reading the book. I was surprised by the negative comments about the author (Dr. Howard Cutler)! But, as I read further into the book, I began to understand why.

Review:For those skeptical of supernatural claims and theistic versions of Buddhism, Robert Wright continues the quest that his earlier books such as The Moral Animal and The Evolution of God began. These titles hint at Wright's terrain, where fact and speculation, the tangible and the experiential, blur. He explores in Why Buddhism Is True the worldview that in the time of the historical Buddha, could not have been clearly expressed in pre-scientific, and very pre-Darwinian terms to human mindsets.

I just loved the message in this book and I hope many others will get a copy. It's a wonderful thing to realize that our thoughts hold so much power for positive change and that we DO have a choice in what we draw to us and the people in our lives. I think we humans have built-in 'forgetters' that we can alter our attitudes/thoughts/action; I know it was a good reminder for me.
