I was not disappointed with going back to the beginning. The story was her usual good plot, characters and mystery.

Review:So engrossing - excellent first-person narrative from a character with dementia. Heartbreaking, because I'm sure that's really how thoughts flow for them. Makes me feel more empathetic. In addition, the mystery of the plot is very intriguing. Read more
Review:Who would think managing a hotel could be this interesting? A murder at the very first convention starts the action. Arson and threats follow.
It needs to be edited again. Loc 1990 should be "hose" not "house ". There were a few others. Read more
Review:The story line and premise were fine, but the writing was rather immature. The author seems to have a fairly limited vocabulary which would be more suitable for a younger reader, but adults or experienced readers will long for polysyllabic words. Some of the characters were unbelievable. The mother, for instance, is an over the top religious fanatic who appeared cartoonish and unrealistic. I finished the book, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I had hoped. Read more
Review:Christopher Greyson does a great job of blending mystery with humor. On numerous occasions, I would break out in spontaneous laughter causing my wife to question my sanity. Jack of Hearts was a very enjoyable read! Read more
Review:The beginning was a little disjointed to me, but I am glad I read on. The heroine, a school teacher turned reporter/amateur sleuth, gets involved in solving the suspicious accident of one of the towns elite residents. The daughter of the dead woman is her brother's girlfriend which is how she is how she gets involved. A fun easy read with a few surprises. 3.5 Stars Read more
Review:This story became a real page turner for me. Although I found the conspiracy theory a bit over the top, I was willing to suspend disbelief to follow the pleasantly twisted plot populated by likable and amusing protagonists. Read more
