Review:This version of play was good and the actors captured the tone of the play well. The actors playing Lady Bracknell, Gwendolen Fairfax and Cecily Cardew were very good. The male characters were portrayed at an acceptable level but not was good as the female characters. I would recommend this version. Read more

Review:Oscar Wilde must have been quite the character in his day. This play about mistaken identity is not only laugh out loud funny but cutting at the same time. He skewers the upper class with his observations about their behaviour. No wonder it has been done in countless theaters over the years and been made into at least one film that I can think of. Review:This is the worst book I have ever read. It has no point and goes nowhere. Some people would say dung thrown against a white canvas is modern art. If you are one of these such people you may love this book. I, on the other hand, see it at face value. The Emperor has no clothes. An absolute waste of 2 hours in vain frivolity. Read more
Review:I had read this series back in the 90"s and I had to read this again when it was such a good price. Now I want to order the whole series again. But being a poor person I will not be able to order them.

But the fact that it was set in New England and that it dealt with a depressing winter landscape and a remorseless cast of characters, such as I was then encountering made it unbelievably relevant at the time. I can relate, however, to the preponderance of young readers at this site who have expressed their displeasure at having to read it. I would not wish this vision on a young audience unles... Review:I just love Karen Kingsbury's books. There are always something we can learn from each of her books. The Baxter family has become my 'family' and I have learned so many (spiritual) lessons. I can highly recommend her books!! Read more
Review:I was looking forward to this book but after reading about forty pages I gave up and sent it to the cloud. It seems to want to be a sarcastic "The Circle" or some other duplication, The dialog is incredibly silly and unbelievable and the babble went on and on and on . I could not listen any more. The somewhat futuristic idea of brain melding is not new or even interesting any more. i gave up on this book and picked up another : "A Gentleman in Moscow". What a difference beautiful writing a...
