Review:An excellent guide for all new "flippers" out there. It begins with the why and ends with the how. It is short but concise so it doesn't require days of reading - which unfortunately most teachers don't have the luxury of during the school year. If you are truly interested in flipping your classroom, buy this book! Read more
Review:Nowhere does the description of this book say that it is mainly useful for grades K-8. I'm a high school teacher and can adapt use some of the strategies but would have preferred to save my $40 since it's geared toward elementary students. Read more
Review:This book makes mathematics fun and easy. it is the only book for maths that i am not getting tired of despite having English as a second language. As a teacher I am inspired by the humorous and smart way of introducing maths to students. i am planning to buy the second book as well. I hope Danica writes more books explaining algebra and other difficult math concepts. Read more
Review:I have great respect for the men and women involved in WWll. I have read many books about their bravery. This book reveals much of their personal feelings. It helps to humanize their sacrifices. That was my parents generation. I wish young people today could have the respect I have for this generation! This book might help! Read more
Review:Well-organized, easy to understand book. Has a progress chart and stickers inside which helped my child stay motivated to work through it. Lessons are short and well-explained. Will buy for my younger children when they are ready to learn cursive. Read more
Review:this book is very educational and helpful in knowing what your second grader will be learning this year. I feel like I now can confidently help my child with any homework she will bring home and perhaps answer questions she may have about what she is learning. Read more

Review:The book itself is great, but the kindle version doesn't come with the video content that's supposed to come with the book. I'm being given assignments that involve these videos. I thought I was prepared and now I see I'm not. It's Embarrassing. I'm in a no-excuses type of teaching program. I assumed that the video content was going to come with the e-book somehow. Figured it would be linked. But I got nothing. I paid full textbook price for an e-book that doesn't even have the necessary softwar... Read more
Review:Danica McKellar's math books are always helpful, but this one brought my grade up to an A from a C, I couldn't be happier with this book.
She pinpoints the problems, writes them out, and explains them in a way that makes you think, 'This is easy!' Read more
Review:Again, another title most people who have seen the movie instead of reading the novel first. I must admit the Disney version is a classic in and of itself but the book is so much better as is the case with most books made into movies. It is great read and should be enjoyed by children and adults alike. Read more
