All the Tools You Need to Excel at Calculus (Princeton Lifesaver Study Guides)
All the Tools You Need to Excel at Calculus (Princeton Lifesaver Study Guides)

Review:Having left school and education many years ago I wanted to revisit the calculus. I found that this book explained it in a way which encompassed the thoughts and perspective of a maths lecturer to the subject. His explanation of how you analyze a problem and what treatments you should use are enlightening. I cannot say how closely this book corresponds to any specific curriculum but I imagine its coverage sufficient to explain most if not all topics within single variable calculus. If you need t... Precalculus (10th Edition)
Precalculus (10th Edition)

Review:It came pretty fast. Regardless of the edition, the material is always the same. I don't get graded for homework, so even if the professor says we can't use other editions or tittles, i'm just going to use it anyway. LOL... as if the professor is going to check our book editions Read more

Calculus For Dummies (For Dummies (Math & Science))
Calculus For Dummies (For Dummies (Math & Science))

Review:In the world of engineering it's essential to know basic mathematics and calculus. For those of us just starting out in technical math, I can recommend three outstanding references. You cannot do better than this matched set; "Calculus For Dummies" and "The Idiots Guide To Calculus". Both are wonderfully lucid and yet cover the essentials. They should be bought as a set since they approach many concepts in ways that differ yet in a cooperative fashion. If your just starting out with calculus or ... Read more

Mathematics for Calculus (Standalone Book)

Review:We were disappointed to receive the textbook which came with a soft green/gray cover, later we got to know that it is called "International Edition". Same contents but the paper quality is not as good as the standard textbook printed in America. Read more

Myofascial Meridians for Manual and Movement Therapists
Myofascial Meridians for Manual and Movement Therapists

Review:Why was this NOT basic to my medical education- and to the education of every massage therapist, physical therapist, chiropractor, naturopath and osteopath? Knowing this is knowing how to DO NO HARM! We started learning anatomy by learning the bones! That was backwards! We should have learned about fascia and the function of connective tissue first, then muscles and THEN bones. Fascia gives birth to bones and is the beginning of the structure we have credited the bones for all along! This body o... Read more

Philosophy and the Meaning of Life - What's It All About?
Philosophy and the Meaning of Life - What's It All About?

Review:I was genuinely captivated by this book. While reading this, I could see through the eyes and perspective of the writer... if you have not lived this life... it can be hard to understand it from the main characters perspective.

This story so truly and brutally captured the truth of a childhood with one or both mentally ill parents. I can't even begin to express how spot on the conflicting emotions and fine lines there are between love and hate. The inner turmoil the main character is stru... Read more

and Improved Learning 3.0 - Better Memory
and Improved Learning 3.0 - Better Memory

Review:This is a good written explanation of the process of building mind maps (radiant thinking). The explanations for the use and purpose, as well as the various areas where they are useful are also carefully explained. But the book is 98 percent text and presents a very limited and artificial way of creating them. The advice is good and complete, but as I discovered, missies the opportunity to supply varied and creative visual examples to bring them to life. Read more

The Faked Hijackings of 9/11 (2nd Edition) - Planes without Passengers
The Faked Hijackings of 9/11 (2nd Edition) - Planes without Passengers

Review:This book contains extensive logical research that supports the fakery of the 911 plane crashes. Coupled with the evidence in Where Did the Towers Go book, it’s amazing that so many people still believe the official story. More people should do their reading! We are all so gullible. I recommend this book, although I wish it had more of an executive summary storyline. It’s very easy to get lost in all of the facts, hypotheses, alternatives, and discussion. Read more

How You Can Profit by Knowing Them - Games Criminals Play
How You Can Profit by Knowing Them - Games Criminals Play

Review:This is a good book for anyone thinking of working in jails or prisons. After reading the book, I have decided it takes a very special person to work in the Corrections Department and it is not me, especially after the first chapter, it is defiantly not me. This book is quite the eye opener, working with inmates isn't what I thought it would be. Book explains the games prisoners play, their mindsets, how the set people up, the manipulation and their enjoyment to do so. This is are really goo... Read more
