Review:Honestly, I was pretty disappointed in this one, and the only reason I'm rounding up, instead of down, is because technically speaking, the writing is still really good. The rest of it however...
As far as the mystery plot goes, Lanyon tried to do way too much at once, with the result that none of the threads were really well done. The whole thing felt messy, and the ending was really abrupt. More than that, I was just bored. I was never pulled into the mysteries at all. I didn't know who... Read more
Review:Adrien English is an unforgettable character. He has his flaws, but he's also bright, sometimes funny, sometimes hilariously snarky, loyal to his friends, and many other good attributes. He loves his mother even though she drives him insane meddling in his life and trying to make him live life on her terms instead of his own. He has terrible luck with employees at his mystery bookstore -- the temp services send him some dandies, including a woman he thinks of as a Nazi. Adrien is adorable, and m... Read more
Review:I am slowly becoming obsessed with Josh Lanyon's books. I did think Fair Play was a solid book, but it did get a little bogged down at some points compared to the first book, Fair Game. This is a continuation of the first book, so this absolutely cannot be read as a standalone. Elliot and Tucker have moved in together and we see reasons for them maybe not working well together in their daily lives. They make a good pair in bed, but outside of it? They find that they have obstacles to overcome in... Read more
Review:I am new to this "in your face" mystery paradigm. Starting with the first paragraph the reader is slammed into the story. You hold on for dear life, and the ride gets better with each page. Wow. 'Nuff said. Read more

Review:The Boudreaux series is truly an amazing series about the love family and over coming life trials stronger and more dedicated than before. Review:Loved this book! The characters were strong and real, and loved that it was set mostly in London. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I like some subterfuge or murder mystery woven into my romance plots but this is the highest possible four stars I can give! Read more
Review:Darcy and Logan are perfect for each other. They just don’t know it when they meet. Darcy questions everything about Logan, assuming he’s a rich, entitled, royal who is selfish and doesn’t care about people in the village he moves to. He flies in on his helicopter, unaware how the noise affects Darcy and others. Logan thinks Darcy is uptight and looking for a husband, something he has no intention of being. Luckily, his grandmother sees the truth before Logan does and helps point him in the righ... Read more
Review:Out! The good, the bad, and the ugly always finds itself up front. We are all easy to believe all the bad but every once in awhile the good comes to light. Loved this story. This is a fantastic read. Read more
