Review:Demon in my view
Amelia Atwater-Rhodes
Science Fiction
Somewhere near Chicago, Abury, Jessica and a witch girl.
Demon in my veiw my Amelia Atwater-Rhodes was the best book i've ever read. I loved the fantasy in her vampire story. Demon in my view is about about a girl who moves to a city that happens to be infested with vampires who are after her! Jessica is a young writer in the story who writes about vampire stories. Her pen name is Ash Night. She doesn't know shes a actually telli... Read more
Review:Very similar to Gregory Maguire's series of fairytale books (Wicked, Confessions of an Ugly Step Sister, etc) we learn what made made the Evil Queen evil. Additions of a few characters flesh out the book to approximately 250 pages. And portions of the Disney film, Snow White, pop up and help it all fit together. It's was an enjoyable read though a few scenes may make it a little too scary or unsuitable for younger kids. I finished the book in a few hours while waiting in the airport so it is not... Read more
Review:I really enjoyed this book! Honestly, it's not one that I would normally pick up on my own, because I'm not much of a contemporary reader, but I'm really glad I read it, anyway! It's reminiscent of a modern day Shop Around the Corner scenario where two people become friends over the internet and don't know who each other is when they meet in real life. It was a fun, unique story that I would definitely recommend! Read more
Review:I received this story, this is my voluntary review.
Swords & Stilettos is a fast-paced and well-written read. It is action-packed with vivid imagery. It also offers drama, humor, intrigue, and romance that grabbed and held my attention throughout. I appreciated the twists and turns of the story that kept me entertained. I enjoyed the friendship between Zoe and Kieran, as well as between Zoe and Sidelle. I also adored the connection between Zoe and Shay; their banter kept a smile ... Read more

Review:I really enjoyed reading Lonely Souls. I usually don't read this kind of story, but i became familiar with Karice Bolton's Watchers Trilogy when i downloaded the first book of that series for free. I loved the first book so much I finished the series. I then looked for other books that she has written and came across Witch Avenue Series and of course have downloaded the rest in the series. She is an amazing writer and I love her books! Read more
Review:As usual O'Reilly's books are full of interesting facts and personnel stories. Major part of the book surrounds the battle of the bulge and how it affected the defeat of the 3rd Reich. Full of archived photos that have brief descriptions. I wish that he would have gone a bit further describing how Berlin was divided with the Allies and Russians, east and west. The last part of the books goes on to describe what happens to the main players after the war ended. i.e., the generals and others. Read more
Review:Kristen Ciccarelli's "The Last Namsara" tells the story of Asha, the formidable dragon hunting princess of Firgaard. Asha became the embodiment of Iskari, the feared god of destruction and death, following a gruesome dragon attack at a young age that left her horribly scarred and filled her with anger toward all dragons. Asha learned at this young age that storytelling was evil, as was her mother for sharing them with her, and the Old One for creating them (since they attracted dragons who als... Read more
Review:Paolo Bacigalupi delivers again with another masterful work. His storytelling and attention to detail make the reader feel as if they're right alongside Nailer as he navigates a dangerous and oftentimes unfair world. My only regret is that it ended so soon. I'll look forward to any and everything that Bacigalupi has in store for us as he continues to amaze. Read more
Review:Oh wow! What a rollercoaster ride! Holy pancakes, that was intense. A fitting finale with twists and turns I didn't see coming, with nailbitingly thrilling scenes and hot potatoes dropped on you without warning and woven through it all this special humor we got to expect from the two authors who work so seemlessly together it is unbelievably fun to read their stories. Fitting end to a great trilogy! Read more
