Review:***MINOR SPOILERS ***
Well. That was disappointing.
I feel like I could talk for a long time about why I didn’t care for this book much. Firstly, the tone. Caraval was magical, with a hint of danger. You weren’t quite sure what aspects were real, but that was okay, it was all part of the mystique. Well you can chuck all that mystique out the window for Legendary. Instead of being magical, the tone is very dark, and not in the cool-dangerous-hot guy way, but in the gross-morbid-cree... Read more
Review:Having heard wonderful things about it, I was excited to jump into the world of Everless! Sara Holland’s debut novel introduces readers to a world where time is — quite literally — money, and those who don’t have it are at risk of losing everything, including their lives. The set-up is familiar: Jules, a teenage girl from a small village, tries to unravel a mystery — about the beautiful, dangerous city of Everless, as well as herself. But she has more power than she knows, and the game she thoug... Read more

Review:I read the first Fablehaven book back when it initially released. I think I consumed that book in the matter of a single day.
At the beginning of 2017, I started re-reading the series again and was absolutely shocked when I learned that Dragonwatch would be released in March.
I finished this book in less than half a day and I absolutely love it! It's a perfect continuation of one of my favorite series.
Looking forward to the next book in 2018! Read more
Review:I cannot recommend this book too highly. Levithan succeeds in brilliantly reflecting both the thoughts and feelings of a young generation of boys with varied gay experience with his own Greek chorus of older AIDS era experiences. This is about as close to a tour de force as you're going to get. Bravo. Read more
Review:Tries to engage with real issues, but stops short of actually making a statement. Suitable for teenagers who will enjoy the pretty pictures, not recommended for adults who want to read it to learn something. Read more
Review:With twenty-six crushes and zero kisses in her life, Molly Peskin-Suso wonders if she needs to step outside of her comfort zone. Her twin sister, Cassie, is the the totally opposite. Cassie is an extrovert and she can get a girl's number super easily. The problem for Molly is finding the right person at the exact right moment which is hard to come by.
Becky Albertalli opens up The Upside of Requited with humor. Molly is introduced and she is very likable from the start to the point where ... Read more
Review:Kenny Tingle wrote this book very well! I just want to say that I did not even realize that this book was an autobiography until about two-thirds of the way through this book. It was a fantastic story of the trials and tribulations of a kid whose odds are against him, and a beautiful story of the realization that it does not matter what anyone else thinks about you. I would recommend this book to anyone! Read more
Review:I really liked this book. There were parts of the main characters internal dialogue that got to much. Second guessing, over thinking the situation in her head. It proved to be an exciting and entertaining read. Liked the male characters. Disliked the snotty girl. Leaves you wanting to read the next one, Protected, which is excellent! Read more
Review:Disappointing; needed a good editor-multiple grammatical and spelling errors throughout the book and for formulaic. Cute concept, occasional chuckles, but not very creative. Really wanted to like this series, but found it very amateurish. Read more
