On the night of a Christmas Eve blizzard, Jubilee is trapped in a strange town after her parents’ arrest, Tobin and his two best friends embark on a quest for a Waffle House full of cheerleaders, and Addie is determined to prove her capacity for selflessness at least to her friends, if not to the ex she can’t let go. The three searches for love, each written by a different rightly renowned YA author, interlock and collide amid holiday miracles.

The Downside:

They Both Die at the End
They Both Die at the End

Review:I gave this book 4.5 Stars but rounded up to 5 since it was closer to 5 than 4.

This book has an absolutely amazing concept. It was engrossing from the very first chapter and I found the characters to be extremely likable while also being real, flawed human beings. I found myself wishing so many times that *somehow* they won’t both die at the end. I knew this was going to be a very painful journey.

I loved how it hops to different people and that it specifies at the beginning of ea... Read more

The Socket Greeny Saga: A Science Fiction Thriller
The Socket Greeny Saga: A Science Fiction Thriller

Review:Interesting concept but I found that descriptions of mental states got a bit too long and found that overall the main character did not develop enough to direct his own future rather he seemed to float through every thing that happened to him. Read more

Star Wars: Ahsoka
Star Wars: Ahsoka

Review:Don't expect a lot from this book - It's great if you want a quick read about Ashoka or you're a teen reader. If you are serious fan of Star Wars books, it's best to skip this book and wait for something more substantial. This book lacks character depth, a serious plot and graphic details. Read more

The Never Hero (Chronicles of Jonathan Tibbs Book 1)

Review:This was a great story with a wonderful concept. I did feel that Jonathan could perhaps be a bit more communicative with his friends. After all, no one should have to endure what he is dealing with alone. Great characters, solid plot, lots of fun to read. Read more

Caraval
Caraval

Review:Overall, I liked this book. I really enjoyed the game and the world that Garber created. There was this odd emphasis on colors that was weird to me, but other than that, I genuinely liked it and it's very unique. I loved the eerie carnival/circus feel while also playing up the appeal and awe of just magic in general. You never really know what's real or fake and it walks the line of reality and magic, so I got a kick out of that. I listened to this in audio and was thoroughly engaged and didn't ... Read more

Creatura (The Creatura Series Book 1)
Creatura (The Creatura Series Book 1)

Review:When I was given Prelude to review, I was given the opportunity to read and review Creatura. It was a book I definitely liked. I've had an interest in mythology since I was younger, and I thought that the author Nely Cab blended them well to create something new. I liked the concepts she used in creating the background story, while including some familiar elements. The pacing of the book was good, with questions being left unanswered until it was time to address them from a story-telling point o... Read more
