Review:Another fantastic book by insightful author. I enjoyed it from start to finish. The truth of of childhood abuse is covered with understanding for those abused. The abuser is cast in the shadow where he wants to exist. Read more
Review:I have loved this series, so far, reading without narration....the old fashioned way, lol. I thought I would purchase the narrated version so that I could listen to it while I go about my day, but after trying to listen to it for just three pages, I had to cancel the order. The narrator's voice was so monotone, I kept tuning out. I re-listed to it three times, or tried to, but I just couldn't focus on the actual story because of the lack of variation of tone. I have enjoyed audible books in the ... Read more
Review:Page turner for sure. This book was surprisingly exiting because the beginning was a little weak.I thought it would be formulaic but I was wrong. I could not put it down. The twists at the end were unexpected and terrific. Read more

Review:Although I've been reading Hunter's film reviews in my local paper for years, I've never picked up any of his books. However, I have a soft spot for WWII-based thrillers, so when I stumbled across this first book of Hunter's (originally published in 1980), I figured I'd give it a whirl. Set in the waning weeks of the war in Europe, the story concerns a top-secret Nazi plan to use their top sniper and a special weapon to eliminate a mysterious target. Meanwhile, an OSS small-arms analyst in Londo... Read more
Review:Awesome!! Looking forward to #3.... Soon me hopes.
Good stuff, all written. I'm convinced that the author is, at least in comparison, Tina or Tara. All the characters are awesome. Curt needs a beat down....Jake needs to step up in the gun dept., Grayson Needs To Get That Tooth Pulled...soon. That'll Kill A Man In The apocalypse!! Id like to see how Smalls turns Out....maybe? I could go on and on I guess about all the players...but I will not.
Being a prepping fool (as I've been called) I r... Read more
Review:I was intrigued by the concept of the book. Unfortunately the author didn't deliver on the product. I found that the characters were left undeveloped, the government fell in to the old (Power Hungry) stereotype, and it left an unanswered ending. It was an average read, but I wouldn't recommend it Read more
Review:No Place Lie Home by Mary Higgins Clark
Daddy’s Little Girl was the last book by Clark I read. There was a familiarty of style that came through on this book. At first I thought I was rereading a story but the stories are not the same. I guess it is style. This was a good mystery with a satisfyingly complex plot.
Clark has a young woman with a troubled past as her protagonist in this book. She has a lot of self doubt and a measure of self loathing. She is thrust into a psycho... Read more
Review:I voluntarily read this ARC book and choose to leave a review. I love shifter books. Luke and Anna are dynamic characters and both have their own pasts to deal with. When you find your soul mate, no matter the circumstances or timing, it's worth it the long run. Read more
Review:This book never drags. It kept my full attention from beginning to end!
I don't recommend many books to my reader friends but this one I will!
It has a lot of action and suspense with just the right amount of romance.
I'm looking forward to reading more of Barbara Freethy's books. Read more
