Suspense
Review:Dianne Duvall keeps cranking out great stories. I love the seriousness and sense of humor as well as the sexiness of her creations. The good guys are good and the bad guys really bad! What more could you want? Read more
Review:Love the way Craig writes, the stories flow, love the native American history and spirituality interspersed throughout. This was the last one written in the series, and I have read them all, this rates up there w I th the best quick read. Read more
Review:Wow... How does Colleen Hoover do it yall? Time after time she writes these ridiculously emotional novels that wreak havoc on my poor little heart, and All Your Perfects was no exception to that statement. This novel is a little darker than others that I've read from her, but it is so important and relevant to what so many people are struggling with in the world today. I don't want to give too much away and spoil it for you, so I won't dig too deeply.
I love the fact that Hoover has the a... Read more
Review:This book fuses two sagas--Kerry Kilcannon of the Kilcannon family and Chris Paget's courageous judge Caroline Masters. So, given such great examples of Patterson's formidable reservoir of charcters, why does this story in the final analysis fall into the stale cliche of a contemporary hot-button issue--that of abortion rights? A new President has to come up with an appointee for the Supreme Court, and it turns out to be none other than Aunt Caroline (Judge Masters has a beloved niece who's actu... Read more
Review:Fugitive of Magic, Dragons Gift :The Protector, Book 1
Linsey Hall
I’ve been following Linsey since Braving Fate, the Mythean Arcana series came out. I love her ability to mix History, Romance, and Fantasy all together is a way that makes sense! Shes done it again with her newest book, Fugitive of Magic, Dragons Gift, The Protector Book 1. I have to say this is the best one yet!
This series begins the story behind Nix, or Phoenix Knight, as she calls herself. One of a trio o... Read more
Review:Okay, I confess. If there is a category of reading (or video) that is a natural beckon for me, which should come as no surprise if you’ve read my Amazon Profile page) is the Action-Adventure. Mind you, there are books in this category written especially for adults (stuffed with profanities and/or romance) and there are stories (old-fashioned) that appeal primarily to the young and/or religious among us.
I am the sort who can enjoy just about any class of adventure. Language, clean or tras... Read more
Review:The story grips the reader from the first scene, in the mold of Vince Flynn novels. Although set in the Cold War era, the events could easily translate to the world of terrorism today. Strong recommendation from this reader! Read more
Review:This is my first Heather Graham novel and though the dialogue didn't quite seem to me that it matched with how people in the south speak, it was still very interesting and a decent mystery. I think I will try more by her! Read more
Review:DEADLY FATE is #19 in author Heather Graham's Krewe of Hunters series and I think she needs a break.
I have read other books in this series and liked them a lot and I was especially looking forward to this one because I love Alaska.
But I can hardly find anything good to say about this story. The dialogue was stilted, the characters wooden, the romance and sex scenes were boring. I never did feel a connection between the H/h.
I did like most of the passages about Black Bear ... Read more
