Loved it! For readers who love thrillers and the Hitchcock movie The Birds this is for you. I couldn't put it down, fast paced and the characters are so easy to relate to. Another great book from Willow Rose!

I was disappointed with this book/short story. The book seemed more into gore than anything else. The characters were not fleshed out very well, and I really didn't like that there wasn't really a reason for the birds to go bananas. If it would have been revenge for the first bird, I think that would have been better. Just knowing that they are going to move from place to place being evil, for no reason, I just can't get interested in it. The Bird is a premise that has been written better by others and didn't have anything new to offer. Willow Rose is by far my favorite author, I like everything else that I've read that she has written, but not this.

I chose this book because I like Willow Rose; however, truth be told, I just finished a 6 book series with over 3,000 pages. A nice short story was all I could handle.

Seriously, this a great little read. Rose picks up on a fear many of us share but probably never consider often unless you have seen Hitchcock's THE BIRDS a few too many times!

Again, Rose delivers up our fears to us on a platter when the birds start to flutter and then dive bomb the characters. It gets worse as the birds pick at their heads and faces, pecking and pulling chunks of hair and scalp.

We already know these birds mean business, but by the time dad loses an eye, we see how brutal these birds are.

Hang onto your seat for an unexpected ending!!!

Just when we thought we were safe in Florida...stay out of ponds, watch out for Fire Ants....now Ms. Rose has to come along with flesh eating, green eyed birds!
I saw Hitchcock's classic, about bird death...this definately brings it back...with a big....WHY?!?!
Come on...give us the rest of the story!!!!

As good as the master of suspense himself could do. You know there’s something not quite right with that bird but you feel sorry for it. That is until it turns. Read the story for the rest. Recommend.

Phobias are just irrational fears, but what happens when they are justified? Suspense building, heart pumping action plague a small Florida island family. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Another amazing book by Willow Rose. Bird lovers be warned. This book is a look at just how sinister and scary having a bird could be. I couldn't put this book down and read in in one sitting. Can't wait for you next story!!

Sally and James live on an island with their daughter and are very happy, until one day a white bird with green eyes shows up. Sally is scared of birds due to being attacked by a bird as a child. What is special and unique about this bird? Read along and discover. This is a short story. Willow Rose has written several good books.

I bought this book for a quick, fun read.. Big mistake!
Couldn't sleep, and didn't trust my my parrot (of 15 years) today.
I hate reviews that regurgitate story lines, so, buy the book, and turn the night lights waaaay up.
