Paranormal
Review:(RabidReads.com)A few years ago I discovered a book titled, Caged, by this author. I fell in love with the characters and the story and read them all until the series was finished last year. I have read this book twice now-once a few months ago, and again yesterday. I thoroughly enjoyed myself both times. And that’s because for a first novel in a series, Amber has exceeded my expectations and has written a book that is just as good as Caged, if not better. That’s something I never thought I woul... Review:This was not a favorite. There were too many mysteries happpening all at once so the plot was simply overwhelming but not successful. I also found the romance very unrealistic. I would not recommend at all. Read more
Review:Just finished reading The Curse Defiers and I'm feeling underwhelmed. I thought this book was the third and last of a trilogy but it doesn't appear to be the case. I'm left feeling that there were so many unanswered questions and I'm confused as to what really happened.
Honestly, the characterizations were great. I liked how spunky and kindhearted Ellie is, how unpredictable and street-smart Collin is and how intelligent and dependable David is...the story was also fast paced, if a bit pr... Read more
Review:I love this series. With the new release Archangels Shadow I went back and read the entire series again. This book is the second in a continuing storyline and was just as enjoyable this time around as the first time. If you love urban fantasy this series is a must read. Read more
Review:I found Archangel's Storm to be a wonderful connection to the world Singh has presented to us. I bought all of the collection so far and wait breahtlessly for the next. I find her stories both stimulating and fun to read. Read more
Review:I know that the first 2 novellas are previously published work, but this is STILL a must buy!!! Wow. Tender, romantic, sexy.. Everything I love about NS. She does not disappoint. I am in complete awe of Singh. Her writing is overwhelming. It is truly beautiful and heartbreaking and everything that one could want in a romance. Again, completely worth the price for the two new short stories. I have the other anthologies, but I'm glad I didn't pass this up. Lol. I wouldn't have dared! Her writing ... Read more
Review:While there was nothing glaringly wrong with this book, there were a few areas which could have used some deeper explanation, and others that seemed to drag on a bit too long. It was well-paced, but had a somewhat simple writing style I found lacking true depth. A good story, worth the $.99 I paid, but was easy to put down and I read a few other books at the same time before coming back to finish this one. Read more
Review:A wonderful, lovely story of finding true love, in a unique setting. There are lots of fallen angel stories out there, but this one is more true to life than most, with beauty and strife. This is my favorite Elizabeth Hunter novel so far. Read more
Review:Just when you know you should hate someone, you find out it not as you thought!!! Ms. Harrison has an evil genius streak, and it is worth every word she wrote, what can I say. I was having palpitations near the end of the book. Well plotted; well crafted, well written and downright fantastic! How could this end? I'm thinking Romeo and Juliet, which I definitely didn't want to see.
I also felt there was a difference in this book, the emotion was different than her other books; after re... Read more
Review:Novels where the human realm collides with the paranormal realm are favorites of mine. In the Entwined Realms series, vampires are not your friends, zombies and orcs are definitely bad news, and that fearsome gargoyle may just be the love of your life. I think my favorite part of this novel was that everyone wasn't what they seemed to be. Friends and family with secret lives, allies with hidden agendas, an Oracle with matchmaking tendencies and, of course, gargoyle warriors with a soft side. I a... Read more
