Supernatural: John Winchester's Journal
Supernatural: John Winchester's Journal

Review:I love that the book talked about the monsters, ghosts, and demons from the show. I also thought that it was cool that an angel from last season, and thus the basis for what is happening this season on the show (Metatron) was mentioned. Read more

The Supernaturals
The Supernaturals

Review:The beauty of reading horror books is this: even though you’ve probably read this same thing or read the same horror book with similar plots, cookie cutter characters, etc, what really matters at the end of the day is; does it provide you with enough chills and creep factor to get you reading?

Thankfully, this one delivers!

The plot is pretty standard; haunted house that is on the market but nobody buys it. It needs a super cleansing and a group of people are gathered and led by a ... Read more

Supernatural: Witch's Canyon (Supernatural Series)
Supernatural: Witch's Canyon (Supernatural Series)

Review:I thought that Witches Canyon was better than Nevermore, like alot of other reviews I see posted here. It captured the series much better with the whole supernatural theme. The main bad guy in Nevermore was a living breathing human. I finished the book because I had nothing better to do at the time. I'm looking forward to other Supernatural books if they are as good as this one. Read more

Supernatural: Bobby Singer's Guide to Hunting
Supernatural: Bobby Singer's Guide to Hunting

Review:The book had some great stories, I was constantly about to either laugh or cry. But I though it would be more about all the different creatures and how to "off" them. I'm very glad I didn't buy this book before I did because it has some big spoilers and just doesn't make much sense if you haven't seen season six. Over all I really liked the book. Read more

Seduced by Pain (The Seduced Saga Book 2)
Seduced by Pain (The Seduced Saga Book 2)

Review:**May contain spoilers**
Like its prequel, Kimberly Kinrade associates 'Seduced by Pain' with one of Shakespeare's greatest love stories; this time it is 'A Midsummer's Nights Dream'. Each chapter begins with a quote from the play and is named after a section from that quote, indicating the action of the story. I appreciate this homage by Kimberly Kinrade, to Shakespeare, who I believe wrote some of the world's most beautiful stories, and I am interested to find out which play she will be usi... Read more

Mate Bond (A Shifters Unbound Novel)
Mate Bond (A Shifters Unbound Novel)

Review:Seriously, who wrote this? Because five chapters in, it reads like someone's first novel. There's been at least six occurrences where as a reader the author is telling us something, instead of showing. The real Jennifer Ashley left those mistakes behind years ago. Completely unlike any other book in the series. I don't mind the departure in terms of the approach, the setting, etc. – as long as it's written well. This is not. Read more

Lone Wolf (Shifters Unbound)
Lone Wolf (Shifters Unbound)

Review:I like this author's world building and relatable characters. This is a good series and I am looking foward to future installments. Can be read as a stand alone but would be better if read in order of the series to enjoy some othe the past characters. One of the better shifter series out right now. Consider this series if you like Dana Marie Bell, Shelly Laurenston or Moira Rogers. Read more

Until Morning Comes by JT Sawyer (A Carlie Simmons Post-Apocalyptic Thriller Book 1)
Until Morning Comes by JT Sawyer (A Carlie Simmons Post-Apocalyptic Thriller Book 1)

Review:Fantastic story! Great character development, extremely fast-paced, and definitely edge of your seat.
The zombies are different than your run of the mill zombies, which makes the story more interesting.
Read in one sitting. Can't wait to read the other books in the series. Read more

A Post-Apocalyptic Medical Thriller Fiction Series (The Pandemic Series Book 1)
A Post-Apocalyptic Medical Thriller Fiction Series (The Pandemic Series Book 1)

Review:Bobby Akart is my favorite author of this genre. His writing is intelligent and well crafted. As a medical professional, I was impressed with his scientific accuracy. I would say that he's the Tom Clancy of Dystopian Fiction. The protagonists are well-developed and the plot is entirely plausible. What is more,....it's actually edited!! I can't wait for books 2, 3 & 4 to be released. Read more

Dungeon Lord (The Wraith's Haunt - A litRPG series Book 1)
Dungeon Lord (The Wraith's Haunt - A litRPG series Book 1)

Review:LitRPG has seen action, drama, and comedy but until now I’ve never seen it used to such a good effect with a darker bent. The story is a good blend of horror vs adventure (and drama, with a dash of comedy), without becoming too dark. It asks good questions about good and evil, dogma and faith, all while presenting solid adventure through multiple POVs. The best part about all of that is that it does it well. I eagerly await the next books in the series. Read more
