The Vampire Chronicles Collection - Volume 1(Cover may vary)

Interview with the Vampire
Interview with the Vampire

Review:First read this 35 years ago. Reading it again today, I realize that it is timeless, like all great tales are. This work and Stephen King's "'Salem's Lot" redefined vampire lore for the 20th Century. It is haunting and bittersweet and well-written--all the things that Stephanie Meyer's vampire works strived towards but could not attain. Read more

The Queen of the Damned (The Vampire Chronicles - No. 3)

Review:The book arrived quickly and in the condition expected, however it does not have the cover art pictured. It turned out to be the movie cover art, and everyone hates those. I really would have liked the one pictured. Nitpicky, I know, but the movie one really sucks. Read more

The Vampire Lestat: The Vampire Chronicles, Book 2
The Vampire Lestat: The Vampire Chronicles, Book 2

Review:By one of my favorite authors. I have recommended it to family and friends time and time again. While this whole series is something I like to read every few years, I enjoy books 2,3,and 4 the most. Kicking off with my very fave #2 The Vampire Lestat. Then is #3 The Queen of the Damned. And finally the hilarious, stressful and some say "odd duck" book #4 the Tale of the Body Thief. Consequently it is a bit of an odd duck in that for books 1-3 you are cruising along at the speed limit and suddenl... Read more

An Erotic Fantasy Tale (Volume 1) - The Marechal Chronicles
An Erotic Fantasy Tale (Volume 1) - The Marechal Chronicles

Review:I had read some good reviews before buying the book so I thought, "Why not?"

In the erotic literature sense, it is very graphic in its descriptions, and there is a lot of it. However, I find that the story development was a bit lacking, almost as if it was rushed. There is little to know character development either, in my opinion. All that aside, the author has a very descriptive, eloquent writing style, to the point where I got confused about what was being described.

Overall, I'... Read more

Storm's Heart (Elder Races Book 2)

Review:4.5 Stars... Loved, loved, loved this story from start to finish... Niniane and Tiago were a great mix of sweet, sassy, and sexy; their chemistry was off the charts, but I enjoyed their witty banter, humor, and tender moments that provided substance to their connection... A strong storyline steeped in political intrigue and betrayal provided an interesting framework in which the story to evolved... Dynamic secondary characters lent themselves to the complexity of the storyline and created an int... Read more

Serpent's Kiss (Elder Races Book 3)

Review:Absolutely my favorite of the books so far. We have a women who yes does let her guard down...to let her “feelings” show more and more. Well after thousands of years it’s about time for her. I love the fact that she is strong and still vulnerable. And let’s just say Rune is just amazing. Yes they mate hard, but at least in this one you don’t have a women who is constantly woe is me the whole book. Glad to see this. And yes a whole lot of landscape description etc. But for me it was needed and I ... Read more

Review:I love these characters. this family you could say.
they watch out for each other the closeness and even misunderstanding between them doesn't over rule the love
and trust that runs threw their veins.
And the sex is hot and steamy , and sometimes I have to reread those parts.
