Review:This last book redeemed the series for me after the unnecessarily graphic sex scene in the second book moved into teen romance novel for a time. I didn't see the end coming which made it all the more satisfying. I will recommend the series with a caveat about the second book. Read more
Review:This guy is amazing. He uses the same universe, characters and many of the same settings to tell completely different stories. I would say the only contiguous factor is that all his stories have some grit. I am now reading it for the second time, can't wait for his next book! Read more

Review:It was a good book for me for summer reading this year, I am going into the 8th grade, so it was pretty easy for me. I would say this book would be for 12 and up because it could get a little inappropriate at times, there is little swearing and the main character smokes, so this wouldn't be good for younger kids, overall it was a great book. Review:I am twenty years old and I loved this book more than I think an intelligent college student should. There were just way to many things that kept me from not turning the pages and walking away. In fact, I have only one negative thing to say about this book.
This is a book meant strictly for pleasure reading for fantasy and novels alike. While it kept true to the high school novel feel, it also had enough fantasy to make it that much more interesting than just high school girls worrying ab... Read more

Review:It was the virus in the tomatoes that decimated much of the human race, which led in turn to the Inlanders (the supernatural races) being outed. Now they co-exist with humans and like the mortals, some are good and others are very bad. Rachel, a witch, is one of the supernatural entities that try to do what is right even if she has demons marks from working with them and her souls is black scum. If she dies before it is removed, she will go straight to the place where the demons live.
Review:Long time Kim Harrison & Rachel Morgan fan, so I really enjoyed this collection, especially the story of Jenks' adventure with Trent when they go to "elfnap"... well, shouldn't say more. Plus, her non-Hollows stories were good. I rarely bother with short stories anymore (read too fast, feel unsatisfied afterwards that I didn't buy a 600 pg. novel) BUT most of these stories were novellas, so the subjects were dealt with in enough depth to be gratifying and fun.
I can highly recommend thi... Read more
Review:After reading the last book I was debating on whether or not I was going to buy this one. I am pleased that I followed my gut and got it. I was completely thrown by the turn of events and the story line really held me. I wanted to skip to the end just to find out what was going to happen but, I was good and I read the whole thing :) Shocks and twists at every turn and shocking revelations that made you say "OMG No Way!) what more can a girl as for.

Review:I'm four books behind! It is summer. Therefore I have more good days than bad. Therefore I'm outside a lot more. But therefore I'm overdoing it and having to stay inside recuperating. I claim those as my excuses for not being caught up on my reading. Oh, and I'm still knitting and crocheting quite a few hats for the Hugger Hats group. But wait a minute! I listen to books while I knit and crochet. How would that slow me down? Oh, yeah, and then a couple binge watchings. Anyone finish with the Ora... Read more
