Review:This collects #1-6 of Infinity Gauntlet and I must state, this comic provides great significance within the Marvel Comic Universe! The range of characters and constant change of setting is outstanding whereas Jim also perfectly portrays Thanos of superior strength but somewhat can not achieve some tasks he desperately requires. Overall, this is a great comic to read as the ending provides pathways to more intriguing stories. Read more
Review:Time-traveled back to my childhood for the fifth time! (Plus, this book means the series is halfway to including Logan Bruno!)
Yes, I know, some of you are wondering why I'm into these books. A big part of it was having a crush on Mary Anne during my youth. (What? Yeah, I know. Shut up.)
The books are just as fun to read now as they were twenty-five years ago (crap, I'm old). It's a time before mobile phones and everyone having the Internet. I guess they could have rewritten/update... Read more
Review:Millar his berserk in this story of Wolverine years in the future. The super villains have virtually wiped the earth of super heroes, yet one remains, Logan, who won't raise a fist. What happened? Well that would be telling... just pick this volume up and prepare yourself for Millar inspired insanity, with one of the sickest endings ever! Read more
Review:I weakened and bought this book a second time, not quite remembering why I disliked it. After all, Mark Millar is one of my favorite modern comics scribes and this story has been announced as the basis for the next "Captain America" movie. Then, after reading the let down of a "climax," I remembered what bothered me. I also bought the companion comic, "Choosing Sides", and another, even more compelling reason to be unhappy with this "epic" story hit me square in the heart. Does anybody remember... Read more
Review:The Bone series is an absolutely amazing series to begin with. So the content that this humongous book contains is just great. The artwork is very admirable; each picture is drawn with carefulness and fine detail. The story is great with everything you could think of that a regular book has: foreshadowing, suspense, and all that good stuff. This book is definitely worth buying over getting all the books individually. One negative thing though is that this comic is in black and white. But this is... Read more

Review:My wife suggested that I read the Hunger Games books. After reading that horrid excuse for a trilogy, I went online to see why everyone was making a big deal about it. During this search I discovered that Suzanne Collins had been accused of stealing her ideas from this book, Battle Royale. I read a brief synopsis of this book and read some of the reviews and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did, the story in Battle Royale is much much better. Each character is well written and the scenes... Read more
Review:This book presents an entirely new experience. It has aspects of comic books I enjoyed as a kid. It quotes and uses much of the Koran in the story. Its illustrated borders and Arabic script are outstanding. The story line is pretty good. Depending on how one wants to interpret the story and illustrations one might either say that it is pornographic or that it has a religious meaning. I feel that it is both. Read more

Review:Having already read Martin's short story, I really enjoyed this graphic interpretation of his work. Dunk and Egg are drawn pretty much how I imagined them, and other than a couple strange panels, I found the adaptation to be respectful and true to the source material throughout. I'd recommend this to any D&E fan. Read more
