I grew up on the BSC series (seriously obsessed!) so I am thrilled that my daughter is experiencing the series, too. She is a huge fan of the graphic novel format and has already read this book three times! It's wonderful! She loved books 1-4 so this book, book 5 had some pretty high exceptions and it absolutely did not disappoint! Can't wait for more!

I love any kind of jokes !!!They make you laugh !!! You can also tell jokes to your friends. I bought the whole series .They were all funny but the one i loved the most were the Halloween jokes cause it's my favorite holiday to celebrate with my family !!!

Daughter just got number 5 and was complaining that the graphics were different and the storyline not as good as the first four. We had to investigate and found that Raena Telgemeier is no longer writing and illustrating the BSC graphic novels. Bummer for her fans.

Yes, I know, some of you are wondering why I'm into these books. A big part of it was having a crush on Mary Anne during my youth. (What? Yeah, I know. Shut up.)
The books are just as fun to read now as they were twenty-five years ago (crap, I'm old). It's a time before mobile phones and everyone having the Internet. I guess they could have rewritten/updated/ modernized the series, but I'm kind of glad they didn't. This is part of my history, of the way life was back then.
Plus, lots of my friends were girls, and they loved reading these, so I got sucked in. Sometimes it's okay to be a sheep, like when it means reading books like these.
