Review:Very few people know about this book! I bought it for gifts and have my very own copy.
Who knew our president was into a history- growing-up book for his daughters. So delightful to read.
I even took it to India for a house gift. Bravo! Read more
Review:I purchased this book after talking to someone at a car dealership!! She had told me about it and I thought it sounded interesting. It was better than I had thought it would be. This is a first hand account from a surviver. Some of the areas were glossed over but enough detail was given to get a good picture of what was happening and what these people lived through. Review:Outstanding on all counts. A finely detailed summary of all the decisions as to why Hitler lost the war. Plus the Japanese fiascos that gave us the upper hand early in the war. The atomic bomb was necessary but we would have won regardless. And I was just about to get drafted into the Pacific battles. Read more
Review:Well written, well researched, compelling book. The book made me care about both the families living today and their lost relatives. I never before thought of what families went through who lost someone that was MIA. The book touched my heart. Read more
Review:I've been fascinated by the story of Charles Manson and the Family since I was a teenager. Now as an adult and a prosecutor I'm even more fascinated by the psychology and sociology behind the story. This book is an amazing first-hand account, masterfully told with tremendous insight. Thank you, Ms. Lake, for sharing your story. A must read! Read more

So the book is interesting, but the title is quite misleading.
As a vignette of old Hollywood, it is not bad. It makes Mary Aster look very human, not particularly good, not at a... Read more

Review:Have been reading several books on the History of the Code Talkers and found this to be as informative as the others. Great book to read and very descriptive as to the Mission of the group. Very brave men to do what they did and proud of them for stepping up for their Country and giving their All. Read more

Bravo to the brave men and women of Poland who saved democracy in Europe! A must read to all who love history. Read more
