Review:Mr. Kotler's Abundance is a good, solid read - but nothing really earth shattering. There are better business books out there (Godin, Gladwell, etc) but it's ok. Didn't love the writing style, but that's just personal preference perhaps. Read more
Review:This slender volume is basically just a repackaging of popular economics topics that have been written about ad nauseam. Vaguely entertaining, but the research is very shallow, and the writing is amateurish. Would give it three stars, except that the publishers and/or authors clearly stacked the other reviews in an egregious way. Read more
Review:The big negative is it's repetitive.
But the basic story is a good one - I can vouch for that as I've started several businesses on a shoestring myself. Obviously I have not had Daymonds success but I am worth more than 2 million. Daymond is reported to be worth about $100 million.

Review:What a great book on what actually happens in the corporate world. As a corporte director for a fortune 500 company, I find these "silos" at every turn. And once I recognize it, my interface with these departments take a different tactic from the normal interactions with "normal" groups.
