Review:This is very much an accurate account of what occurred that tragic night in East Texas. I live just a few miles from this terrible family tragedy & to this day I can't get it out of my mind. I pray for the father every day ~ going through this had to be so horrific. Read more
Review:This book was great for characterizing the life cycle of a man. It identified the critical components in each season and the types of activities that shape a man's life. It identified critical pitfalls and how a man can acknowledge them, give them to God, and be healed in the midst of his failure and brokenness. It is a great opportunity for men and women to understand God's perspective and heart for men. Read more
Review:I must agree with the other review. Heart changeing indeed. This is no average book, with no average message. Aldredge is able to give a vivid 3D perception on the personality of Jesus. Breaking away from the "norm" - this book will make you experience Jesus like you have never done before. Read more
Review:*I received this complimentary copy from BookLook Bloggers in exchange for my honest review.
This is a must read book for any young man just high-school onward. It is a dialogue of two men in different stages of life trying to ascertain what it is to be a man.

Review:I actually enjoyed the creative ideas for rewards. Children should learn to EARN. We adults earn our paychecks, and children need to be taught not everything is handed to them forever. She offers great ideas. I do not agree with the Bible as an instrument of discipline. I think this will only encourage children to resent the Bible, a love letter from our savior. Teach principles without a hell-fire and brimstone approach. Read more

Review:I learned so much about myself and other people from this book. It gave great insight to SWCs without adding judgment. I felt like the book was written with so much love. I also bought the audiobook and I love to listen to the narrator read; her voice was pleasant. If you have a child that you feel does not listen then read this book, and then loan it to someone. I am giving it out for Christmas. Read more
