Review:Seriously a MUST-HAVE. Especially after seeing Season 3. There's nothing essential, but there are enough clues peppered throughout the book to add context to some of the things going on. It can be wordy, but it's never boring. Once you get through the Nez Perce stuff in the beginning, it's hard to put down! Read more
Review:This book is a treasury of relevant scientific theories and findings; none of the wishy washy vague nonsense they teach in other books, this is practical real world advice, that tries to back itself up with science, and is honest about itself. The exercises are all explained, so that the reader knows the how and why, and they work. This is a must have for anyone wanting to improve their art, regardless of the level they may be at. Review:The workbook doesn’t go with the book. They are two different editions. The exercises from the book are completely different from the ones in the workbook. Very confusing. Makes workbook a waste of money. Read more
Review:Great intro for true beginners learning how to see for drawing purposes. Not an advanced workbook, but a great guide with some techniques included. It's sophisticated enough for adults and could frustrate younger kids, but I'd think this book would be fun for anyone interested in developing their artistic eye and learning how to practice real drawing technique.
